At first it was ok. But they sent someone who didn’t like pit bulls. Her family killed one for growing. My service dog is a pit shar pei mix. My dog was able to run free with other caregivers but I kept him tied to my bed with her. He didn’t like her. I’m sure he sensed her dislike. She startled me one day. My dog and I were on the bed. He was sleeping. She startled us both suddenly lunging towards me with her phone.My dog instantly woke up and snapped. Didn’t bite her. She just startled us. She told her boss my service dog was aggressive. They wanted him to be locked up. All the others before her didn’t have a problem. But they took her word. They didn’t want to come unless my service dog was locked up. How could he alert me from a cage? They seem to have a problem keeping people. I believe hand washing wasn’t important for that girl. I asked if she thought the gurgle from a clog in my bathroom sink was really loud. As soon as you turn the water on it instantly made grumbles. She never noticed. There was no way to miss it. If you washed your hands. I have a much better place now.

We have always had fantastic service from OCal in the past. My husband is recovering from a severe stroke and now we have an aide for 40 hours a week through OCal. His name is Christopher and he is very attentive, caring about my husband's progress including his therapy exercises. They joke and laugh and it takes so much off my shoulders !

Since switching to this agency, it has truly been like night and day. The level of communication alone has made such a difference. They are proactive, responsive, and always keep us informed. They consistently make sure all shifts are covered, which has taken a huge weight off my shoulders. I no longer feel like I’m constantly scrambling or worrying about gaps in care. It’s clear they genuinely care ,not just about the clients, but about the families too. The professionalism, reliability, and organization have been outstanding. I’m so grateful we made the switch and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for dependable, compassionate care.

O'Cal and Autumn (the Aide for my uncle who has dementia) have been amazing to work with. Autumn is an angel in disguise. My uncle is not an easy person to deal with and she has managed him to get to cooperate, while standing up to him when he gets belligerent. I truly recommend O'Cal and Autumn when you require a professional to help family members. They are amazing.

The care team has been wonderful working with my mother in law. Holly and her team (especially Kenyatta, who spent the most time caring for her) jumped in last minute to take on extra hours when mom needed it last minute. Their caring staff were always trying to help mom be more comfortable and cared for, urging her to eat and move to retain strength. Helping her to remember meds. Always doing things around the house to help her. Asking what she needed and what they could do to assist. Also helped with gentle guidance on self care. Really wonderful team, can’t say enough thank you’s! 10 out of 10 recommend!
