I have been looking for a asstised living for my mom for months. I needed one that had good food because she is picky and one that has alot of activities to keep her busy and I found it when I found Long Creek. They are very nice and work with you and help you get in and help with the paper work. And most of all my mom LOVES it and the works talk to her by her name not just someone. And that means alot to me and her. Thank you Jennifer and Long Creek for taking care of Mom

Our mom lived at The Tradition Assisted Living for 1-1/2 years and I cannot say enough good things about her experience. Everyone... from administration, to the health care team, to front desk concierge, to dining food/service, to housekeeping, and the list goes on and on - were outstanding in their perspective area. The nursing staff was always friendly, helpful and thoughtful. The doctor and nurse practitioner who service The Tradition are over-the-top excellent! I highly encourage you to check out The Tradition if you are making the big decision for your loved one!

When I entered, I used the public restroom - not kidding. It was spotless and i was impressed by the 8 foot wooden doors. i knew immediately that this was a quality place. The apartments have balconies and they vary in layout. I liked the one bedroom with a kitchen island, which contained dual sinks. One may opt for hardwood flooring for a fee.

On May 6, 2020 as I was walking the neighborhood that I live in after work for exercise, I fell into a faulty storm inlet cover that had a rusted piece missing. This storm inlet was located on a side street perpendicular to Lover’s Lane on the Tradition’s property. Half my leg fell into the ground, scrapping all down my leg from my knee to my shin. The rusty storm inlet cut through the white meat, injuring my leg. I had to get driven home from a friend because I could not walk. I went to urgent care the following morning for a tetanus shot and x-ray (thank God I didn’t break my shin). The nurse bandaged and cleaned my wounds and prescribed me antibiotics to avoid infection. It took 4 days before I could bear to put my weight on that leg before walking. I immediately contacted the Tradition in person and via email. It took over a week before someone responded to me after several follow ups. I was then contacted by Holt Perlman, the owner’s son. We had one brief phone call where he was very rude and unprofessional. He acknowledged the storm inlet was on their property but that it wasn’t his fault I took a “leisure walk and fell.” We communicated via email for around a month. I had 2 requests: 1. Fix the storm inlet so this doesn’t happen to anyone else 2. To be reimbursed for my medical expenses. To this day, over 3 months later no steps have been taken to correct the safety hazard that is on site via their broken storm inlet. There has also been no steps to reimburse me for my medical expenses and my leg has scars to this day as a result of the fall. I inquired a month ago why it still hasn’t been fixed. Below is the rude and unprofessional response from the owner’s son, Holt Perlman: “For your information, the inlet is in the process of being fixed. This doesn’t just happen overnight. But per usual, you again are uninformed and making wild assumptions.” I know things take time, but 3 months? And if they were truly concerned about the safety of others in the neighborhood and their elderly residents there would have been cones set up as a minimum. But the Tradition doesn’t care. If you’re looking for a place to send your elderly parents or loved ones, don’t give this place your business. They are rude and unprofessional, and they are not concerned with the safety of their property.
