Home Instead has been a lifesaver and incredible blessing for me. I’ve used them both for my mother and mother-in-law at two different locations in Dallas. Both times they have been so responsive and flexible. I’m usually in need of someone very quickly and I usually I’m not sure how long I need someone and they are always able to mobilize very quickly. We’ve used them to take care of my mother and mother-in-law after coming home from the hospital when they are needing additional help. Home instead in home services allow my mother and my mother-in-law to recover at home versus in a nursing home. My experience with nursing homes is awful and I never want my loved ones to go there. Home instead allows me to keep my loved ones out of nursing homes, and stay in the comfort of their own home as they recover. It’s so amazing how helpful their care providers are all the way from bathing to grabbing delicious food, cleaning up their apartments to bringing them clothes shopping. They are absolutely incredible. I highly recommend them for any support you may need during recovery for yourself or your loved one.

We are incredibly grateful for the care and compassion Sonam K from Home Instead provides for my husband. Caring for someone with Parkinson’s and dementia takes a very special kind of person, and Sonam exceeds every expectation. He is gentle, kind, and always attentive to my husband’s unique needs. What truly sets him apart is how engaged he is—he doesn’t just “watch over” my husband, he actively enriches his day. Sonam spends time talking with him, reading to him, helping him play games on his iPad, and even taking him on short neighborhood walks in his wheelchair. These moments mean so much to both of us. In addition to his companionship, Sonam helps with daily tasks like preparing breakfast, light housekeeping, and assisting with showers. He is 100% present and never stops working to ensure my husband is comfortable, safe, and cared for with dignity. I feel truly blessed to have Sonam as my husband’s caregiver. He brings not only skill, but genuine heart into everything he does. We couldn’t ask for better care.

The caregivers from Home Instead that are helping my mom and dad in the Plano area are incredible women!!! Diane S and Tawakalit A and others including Yemi, Rachel, Sharon, Charlene, Garricka, Sharon, Nigiste, Magdalena, Shakila - I’m certain I have missed someone - are strong, smart, compassionate women - we are so grateful to have them alongside us!!!

Home Instead has been answer to prayer for us! Such a compassionate and professional group of people. Valarie is a gift to us and has worked perfectly with my 90 year old mom. We are so grateful to have found the right fit for her and for us in our time of need. Highly recommend this organization!

I use Home Instead to care for my Mother when I travel for work and vacations. I have been thrilled with the care my Mother has received from Karen. She is kind and helpful and ensures my mother does her exercises for her Parkinson's as well as her back pain. I feel confident leaving my Mom alone in her care. I have also started using them to help my father in Houston who is recovering from cancer treatment. I highly recommend Home Instead to anyone looking for care and companionship for their loved ones.
