I had an urgent need to move my mother into Assisted Living and the Ridge was able to get her into an apartment within a week. I was won over immediately by the staff (tenure was long), they were welcoming and the residents were engaged and happy. I was immediately won over by facility and people that make this place my mom's new home.

I don’t typically leave reviews, but I feel it’s important to share this experience so others—especially contractors and service providers—can make informed decisions.

Work was completed for Ridge of Sterling under a clearly defined agreement that outlined scope, pricing, and payment terms. The project was carried out as expected, on schedule, and without any major issues. Communication during the job was straightforward, and there were no complaints or concerns raised about the quality or completion of the work.

However, after the work was finished and obligations were fulfilled, the remaining balance of the contract was not paid. Multiple attempts were made to resolve the situation professionally, including follow-ups and providing documentation, but the balance is still outstanding.

In any business relationship, honoring agreements is critical. When work is completed as agreed, payment should follow accordingly. Situations like this create unnecessary challenges and can impact small businesses and independent contractors significantly.

For anyone considering working with Ridge of Sterling, it would be wise to take precautions—such as structuring payments carefully, documenting everything thoroughly, and ensuring protections are in place before starting work.

This review is shared to bring awareness and encourage accountability. Hopefully, this matter can still be resolved properly, but until then, others should proceed with caution.

Ms. Ritchie (the individual who gave me the tour) was very polite and professional. All the staff that I met during the tour were friendly. It seemed as if the staff was often interacting with the residents. The common areas that I was able to visit were clean and straightened (free of excess chairs/junk, etc). The building is smaller compared to some of the other places I visited (which may or may not be an advantage based on what the resident might want). Overall, the place seemed positive.

We recently toured The Ridge. Kate was extremely helpful and positive and we left feeling confident that this is a place that could work for us. In addition to giving us an excellent tour, Kate was able to identify other resources and strategies for us to explore. We are hopeful about The Ridge as a place for us.
