They do not keep to the contract details. And they do not respond to resident concerns. I would not recommend placing your loved ones here.

I worked directly with Chris Kunst while finding a long-term, memory care facility for my uncle. Chris was beyond helpful throughout the whole process - answering any, and all of my questions in a detailed manner and very quickly, even taking a phone call with me on a Sunday; helping coordinate with other staff members while we got my uncle situated; and being able to help with a last minute visit. It was reassuring to work with Chris and the team once I found out my uncle needed to find a long-term, memory care facility, especially given I live in Massachusetts while the facility was in Pennsylvania. Overall, great experience with Chris and it’s been great to meet the staff over the past month while visiting the Province of Wexford, which is a great facility for a loved person to reside at during their time of need.

Amendment….I spoke with Mark the executive director who was very apologetic for our needs not being met. I appreciate his leadership and ownership of the problem. My wife wanted to tour the facility a couple of weekends ago for her father who was in desperate need of memory care. She made it clear that we could only tour in the afternoons. The sales person, Alaina would only make an appointment at a very specific time in the mornings, which because of my father-in-laws care needs, we could not make happen. We ended up finding another facility for my father-in-law because the other facility was much more accommodating when it came to tours. It’s unfortunate our tour needs could not be met because we had heard good things about this facility at when it was The Waters.

My mother was at The Waters for nearly 5 years, from the summer of 2019 until April of 2024. She lived in the independent apartments and absolutely loved it. I think I can speak on behalf of all my siblings, that we were happy to see her happy and well-cared for. She developed new friendships, participated in activities, and enjoyed so many visitors. Staff and residents alike became her friends. When the time came that she needed the care and assistance of the health care aids, they were fabulous. They handled her with care and compassion, and even shared a few tears with us. On behalf of the entire Giangiordano family, I share our gratitude to the entire team at The Waters of Wexford. Thank you for being there and caring for our mother.

It was very hard for my elderly parents to leave Florida & return to our hometown of Pittsburgh, but the administration & staff at The Waters of Wexford made everything so much easier- for them and for us, their family. The staff has continued to provide excellent & compassionate care for nearly 2 years. Sadly, my dad died last month, but again, the Waters staff were so kind and helpful. The facility is always clean & the food is remarkably good! Highly recommend The Waters!
