I can’t say enough positive things about this facility especially the memory care unit. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth, compassion, and genuine dedication of all of the staff. This team consistently goes above and beyond. Special recognition goes to the director, Karli, whose leadership clearly sets the tone for the entire unit. She is approachable, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to both residents and their families. Karli is always willing to listen, problem-solve, and ensure that each resident receives the highest quality of care

My sisters and I could not have been more pleased with the facilities, the personnel, and the community of residents as our father transitioned from his hometown to Ridgecrest of McCandless. His apartment is incredibly lovely and perfectly sized for his needs, the staff and personal aides work tirelessly to ensure that he feels safe and continues to function with as much independence as possible for as long as possible, and the community of residents are warm, engaging, and all immediately made him feel at home. Our family - and specifically my father - could not be more pleased with how things worked out. We look forward to visiting him at Ridgecrest for many years to come.

After researching several AL facilities, my parents made a decision to move to Ridgecrest 3 months ago and we could not be happier with our choice. From the beginning, the transition has been great. The sales team worked with us every step of the way from the application process through the actual move in. The maintenance staff was available and helpful on move-in day and the days after as my parents got situated. The service and quality of meals offered by the dietary team is great. My parents have been treated with much respect by everyone involved in resident care. The nursing team has demonstrated genuine concern for my parents and are excellent with communication. The management team at Ridgecrest is responsive and genuinely concerned with the quality of the resident’s experience. The overall environment of the building is positive and upbeat. I look forward to my visits. I would definitely recommend Ridgecrest.

We recently moved my father into Ridgecrest, McCandless. We couldn't be more pleased with the facility and staff. The apartments are very spacious and clean. The facility itself is very modern, clean and cozy. When my father moved in, they provided him with brand new bedroom furniture that is very nice and modern. He always raves about the food and loves that he can order whatever he needs through the day. He also enjoys joining in the daily activities, particularly bingo and movie nights. He also just enjoys sitting downstairs with his coffee and watching tv at the bistro. The staff has been incredible and everyone already knows him by name. It makes me so happy that he's in such a beautiful, warm and inviting facility with staff who seem to truly enjoy being there!

My parents have been living here for several months and are very happy. The staff is always friendly when I visit and my parents seem well taken care of. I have been impressed with the facilities from the beginning but it’s the staff that really shines. I understand it’s hard to keep staff, but it’s like that at almost any assisted living facility. My parents enjoy the happy hour and food and variety of activities. Ridgecrest really seems to be trying to make improvements and do the best for their residents. My family has made friends with staff I would recommend this place for anyone.
