My mom moved into the independent living wing nearly 5 years ago. Two years ago, after an unfortunate fall and trip to the ER and a "skilled nursing" facility, I had to have my mom moved to the Personal Care side. She had failing memory and needed "wheels" to assist her. She had several falls (her own fault) and her care level would at times need to be increased until she recovered. Then it could be decreased. But here's what I really want to say: Daisy (love, love, love how she cared for mom!) and her care team over those two years (Kay, Shalena, Jen, Patty, Lee, Lizzie, Tonya, Laney, and others) really showed so much care and concern for who they often called, "Love," "Honey," "Mama Lu," and "Sweetie." They KNEW my mom and her tendencies/habits/lifestyle in their care for her. I felt so ASSURED mom was getting the attention she needed and the loving personal care that every one of us wants for our loved one. In January I had Bridges hospice caring for her as well. They did a great job! And they worked well with Ridgecrest Dir. of Nursing and her assoc. I felt like they were a team and always kept me up to date with my mom's needs. When my mom was dying in her bed, there were aides/nurses there to comfort her to her dying breath! And so many of them had tears in their eyes when we met in person following her passing. That will always stick to me. They loved my mom because she was more than a "patient."

My Father lived in the independent living apartments at Ridgecrest. He felt comfortable and at home from day one. I can't single anyone out because the entire group that works at Ridgecrest is a fantastic caring group . Everything you want when you are considering a place at every transition point for your loved one. The food and staff at the kitchen called Dad by name and everyone knew what he liked and to a person was always kind and upbeat. The activities are engaging , diverse so everyone can find something to do. The activities team just like dining staff REALLY CARE. The cleaning staff got to know Dad and would remind him when to go to lunch. I didn't see any turnover in staff . I don't know the management at Ridgecrest but I'm sure they are very solid people . You can feel good if you are moving a loved one in to this place. Thank you everyone for the special care you took of our Father. Gregg

My wife has been a resident of Ridgecrest for the past 18 months. When it was recently sold, I was anxious to see the changes that would ensue with the new owners. So far, I am pleased with the results. It has hired a nurse to primarily serve the Memory care unit, so I am more comfortable with the additional medical "eyes" on her. The newer staff are more care oriented than social oriented, which has increased the level of attention to her dietary and housekeeping needs. But the legacy staff still do a wonderful job of keeping her socially active & engaged. So far, I am pleased with the new owners & outlook.

I have taken my daughter to several events at Atria such as Petting Zoos and Parties for Holidays at this location! This was so she could see her Grandma and spend time with her! We have been greeted with nothing but kindness and every event has been well thought out and organized! They do so many nice things for the Seniors living in this community it’s amazing! The facility is beautiful well maintained, great staff and they can definitely put on a party!! If I could give more stars I would!

We have a family member who recently moved to the independent senior living at Atria of Cranberry Woods. After viewing several facilities we were most impressed with the facility, the activities, and the environment of genuine care. The staff has gone above and beyond to make sure our family member feels comfortable. They want residents to be engaged in the community and it appears there are a variety of activities to span different interests. Our family member enjoys the dining experience, the social opportunities, and the cafe. When visiting, the residents appear genuinely happy and approachable for causal conversation. The facility is spacious. The rooms are bright and clean. The building is accessible. The staff is professional and easily engage with the residents.
