My father was in this facility for 2 months for rehabilitation. During his time there, they lost all of his clothes, his phone and any personal belongings he came with. The staff tried to deny that he ever had clothes to begin with. He also fell multiple times under their supervision, and was told he hit his head but didn’t need to go to the hospital because it was an “unwitnessed fall”. We have called and called to try to get updates on him, worrying because he sounds confused (not his baseline) and nobody will call us back. We call social work to try to set up a care conference and leave multiple voicemails that are never returned. We finally receive a call that his insurance has decided this is his new baseline and he no longer has coverage. So we come pick him up and find that he is no longer able to walk, is very weak and using a bedpan to go to the bathroom, has slurred speech and is confused and hallucinating. NONE OF THIS IS HIS BASELINE and he was not having any of these issues even one month prior. Discharge instructions are thrust at us with no explanation that several of his medications have changed. We immediately took him to Passavant Hospital to sort out everything they’ve done wrong. I believe he’s been neglected and despite us being his primary caregivers and his power of attorney have been left out of every medical decision, care conference, etc and have been unable to get anyone to take us seriously. How in two months have they let my dad decline so severely that I’m not sure how I’m even going to take care of him now? Do NOT take your loved ones to cranberry place.

I would not recommend this care facility to anyone looking for a place that truly prioritizes the well-being and safety of their loved ones. From what I have personally witnessed, the level of care provided does not meet the standards that families expect when placing someone in a nursing or rehabilitation home. One of the most concerning issues is the lack of staffing. The facility often appears to be understaffed, which directly impacts the attention patients receive. Many times patients are left waiting long periods before anyone checks on them, even after requesting assistance. It is troubling to see patients who need help not being monitored as closely as they should be. There have also been instances where staff remain behind the desk on their phones while patients are waiting for help. When patients express their needs or concerns, those requests are not always taken seriously or responded to in a timely manner. For individuals who depend on staff for basic care and safety, this is extremely concerning. Another serious issue is patient safety. There have reportedly been multiple incidents where patients have fallen while under staff supervision. Situations like this raise questions about the level of monitoring and attentiveness being provided. Families trust care facilities to look after their loved ones with compassion, attention, and professionalism. Unfortunately, based on my experience, that level of care was not consistently demonstrated here. I strongly encourage anyone considering this facility to thoroughly research their options and ensure they choose a place that truly prioritizes patient safety, dignity, and proper care. Please take the time to carefully evaluate where you place your loved ones. Everyone deserves to be in an environment where they feel safe, respected, and properly cared for.

My ex wife was admitted here after being in a cpl other places. Those places caused her to get severe bed sores. And they didn't take care of her correctly. Cranberry Place has turned her around for the better. The bed sores are pretty much gone. And she is adequately taken care of. I'm very appreciative of the doctors and nurses here. And all the support from the staff. God bless

Past patient and retired health provider. Even though the walls are nicely painted. It was loaded with feces in all the wrong places like on the bathroom door knobs, walls, the sink, my basin and the room floors. I didn't complain ordered the cleaners and cleaning the room as best I could. Evenly they took the cleaners. Their sanitizers were not good so I bought my own. The nursing assistants were pleasant but had horrible training they put soiled diapers with feces & urine directly on the floors ie. had NO HAMPERS. They used just plastic bags which may or may not be used until they cleaned my neighbor. I kept asking what's my bill? "We dont know yet. While there I had to be hospitalized for a Pulm.Embolus which when that happened the doctor had failed to continue heparin so being bedridden this happened. All I can say to anyone in Cranberry DO NOT GO HERE. By the way my bill cost $10,000 per month well above Concordia's $3,500. So now instead of resting I be paying for the $30,000 bill for 3 months stay & yes I was labeled as "self care"...incontinent of both urine & feces. I cleaned myself. Not all places are like this place. I just suggest...DON'T GO HERE.

I would never recommend this facility to anyone. My mother went there to recover from being in the hospital for over a month. They ignored her at night, she has a stage 4 bedsore because of neglect and she developed a horrible bacterial urine infection that almost killed her. They left her food tray sit out in hallway for an hour until I decided to go find her tray myself. Also over Christmas, they had 1 aid/nurse for 35 patients! Unacceptable!! And when I flipped out to the social worker, I thought things would change. Nope… she ended up in the ER and was in the hospital getting treated for her bedsore and bacterial infection that would have turned into sepsis through her bloodstream. They should be ashamed at how they treat their patients. My mother was in so much pain and Agony, she couldn’t even do her therapy. BTW, the therapist were wonderful people. I have nothing but good to say about them. They even said her treatment wasn’t right by the nurses there. It’s a shame people go for just a paycheck in the medical field and literally don’t care for patients. If only the tables were turned and it was there loved one!
