Beautiful community in a great location, supported by a truly exceptional team. LaJeune Marbury is knowledgeable, responsive, and serves as a trusted advisor—guiding families with professionalism, insight, and care from start to finish. Her support makes a meaningful difference during such an important decision-making time. Highly recommend.

Life is a journey. Sometimes the journey presents difficult circumstances that require help from others to successfully navigate those circumstances. After touring multiple assisted living communities we knew immediately that The Providence Fairfax was where we wanted our family to live and prosper. Not only is the community (decor, rooms, activities, lovely areas to sit and enjoy others/books, restaurants, food, bar - yes a bar, etc) fantastic what really sets The Providence Fairfax apart is their people. In addition to the amazing staff across all disciplines (you know who you are and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts) the residents and the volunteer resident ambassadors are all so kind, helpful and welcoming. The culture at The Providence Fairfax is healthy, happy and nourishing. If you are considering this type of community for your family, look no further you won't regret it. Welcome Home! Our mom moved to the Providence in the winter (2025) after having toured multiple assisted living and memory care residences. We chose The Providence because the facility is lovely, the apartments are comfortable and bright, there are numerous activities offered daily, the pricing includes medication distribution (many places charge additional fees which can amount to an additional $1,000/month or more), and the dining room food is quite tasty. Since our mom has lived at the Providence for several months, we discovered The Providence’s absolute best feature: its STAFF!! The Providence administration does an amazing job hiring the most caring, patient, and friendly staff we have ever encountered. Everyone including the dining room servers, nursing assistants, nurses and medication techs, the folks coordinating and running the many activities, the front desk staff, and the building maintenance team, takes the time to get to know each resident’s personality, interests, families, and things about their lives from when they were younger. Our mom’s adjustment to assisted living was difficult at first, but the administrative team worked with our family to come up with several creative solutions that have helped our mom feel more comfortable.

My 98-year-old mother recently moved into The Providence in Fairfax, and we couldn't be happier. The staff made the move incredibly smooth and have been going out of their way to make her feel at home. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and in a perfect location next to the Metro. Parking in the underground garage is easy and convenient. The food is top notch, and both the nursing and maintenance teams are professional, kind, and attentive. There are also plenty of activities to keep residents engaged and social. We’re so grateful for the care and support she’s receiving.

Very nice facility with very friendly staff. The restaurant inside looks great and there is a rooftop area that can be used but is secure for safety. I would recommend staying here if you want a nice area with nice people and easy access to the metro. It is not within reasonable walking distance to any grocery store or convenience store though
