My beautiful Mom lived at The Oaks / Pruitt Health for about 4.5 months until she died. She lived in the 500 Hall and was cared for by some of the kindest, most caring, most incredible humans on the planet. I will never forget them - and will always be grateful, more than this little box will hold. The world is full of beautiful people - and lots of them landed at this place......

This place is horrible. The nurses are not nurses. They don’t know what the hell they’re doing. They don’t give a damn about the patients. I just feel like they’re in it for a paycheck. They have made my elderly father miss two or three of his doctors appointments and he had a stomach surgery. They’ve been feeding them things that he shouldn’t be eating and hell I’m not a nurse and I know that that he shouldn’t be eating barbecue and greasy food, but obviously they don’t care about their patients. They’re in it for a paycheck. I warn anybody to stay away from this place and do not go here. You will not live alone. I promise you that.

Earlier this week my brother received a friendly greeting and was promptly shown to his room as staff helped him settle in to where he will be living for a while to receive rehab and skilled long term nursing care. This past week has been great as he’s met with staff to discuss long-term goals, has had PT sessions and receiving good care from the RN’s and assistants, been enjoying his meals in the dining room, while also meeting other folks who, like him, is there to receive care at Pruitt Health’s “The Oaks”. Staff have been a great encouragement and start on his road to recovery.

My dad stayed here for just a short term. The staff and nurses were very good to him and his family. The facility was kept very clean. I just want to say thank you for taking good care of him while he was there. He passed away on September 12th, 2025 at 12:30a.m. at the facility and the nurse called me and told me that he went in peace. I just want to recognize the nurse that did that, her name is Shirley. Thanks for all you guys did to help my dad.

I am a medical provider with over 20 years experience in geriatrics and was faced with having to find a skilled facility for my mother in law. We visited several facilities in a 50 mile radius including ones that I used to work with. In my experience, only one facility came close to this one but it is now only for rehab. This place has been the best environment for her. She was miserable at an assisted living facility and agitated most of the time. Here at The Oaks, she is calm and actually happier than I have ever known her to be. And safe. It is an absolute wonderful place for us to call her now home. I appreciate every person there taking care of her as it became impossible for us to on our own. A huge added benefit, they helped us qualify for Medicaid. An enormous help. Our most gracious gratitude. Ann and Duane Holden
