I remember visiting this facility years ago, and honestly, the difference today is incredible. Back then, the first thing you noticed when walking in was the strong smell of urine. The floors were sticky, and overall, the facility felt dirty and unkempt.

Today, it is completely different. Walking in, there is no unpleasant smell of urine, the floors are clean and no longer sticky, and the entire facility looks and smells fresh. It’s clear that a lot of effort has gone into improving the cleanliness and overall environment. It’s wonderful to see such a positive transformation!

Staff will take pictures of residents without asking POA for permission, they then show pictures to other staff or people who don't work there. Some residents can have bad days, instead of trying to help them, staff will tell them off and complain about the residents asking the same question. Kingsbridge is a Dementia home, I feel they shouldn't get fustrated because residents are getting use to a new place or forget they asked that question a few minutes ago. Kingsbridge recently got a new Administrator, she doesn't know exactly what her job is,she's confused alot and tends to ask the workers what she needs to do. While she's been there, there has been a incident of a residents take medicine bottles in his room with no one knowing about it, when the incident was brought up, she pushed it under the rug. I wouldn't put no one I love in there care, I want my loved one to be cared for and understood that there not going to have people talk about them for something they couldn't control. Pleases look for other places before trying Kingsbridge.

I recently moved my mother to Kingsbridge and am very happy with her situation. The staff are very friendly and helpful and skilled. My mother is happy and comments that she likes the food, the people and that everyone is very kind to her.

I come from out of state to visit my sister. She likes it here, and it appears that the other residents like it as well. When I call on the phone to speak to her, I am greeted warmly and put through to her.
The facility is locked, for the protection of the residents, who could wander off if allowed to come and go as they please. However, there is a courtyard that residents can go to sit outside.
My sister tells me there are a lot of activities, including shopping, plays and other diversions that she participates in. She enjoys not having to keep house or cook, and has many friends among the staff and residents.
