Absolutely horrible! No heat in the winter. My parents were locked in their room due to a faulty lock . Then told all the locks were being replaced but now have only a double lock which is hard for arthritic hands. Fire drills Never gone over so they just go back in to their rooms. Management non existent. Argumentative or inattentive front desk, depending who’s working.

Reply… completely untrue reply in its entirety. My parents still don’t have a double door lock. I have never been reimbursed as promised for the money I paid for the space heaters I personally purchased. Randi at the desk can be downright rude at times. Today I had to come over and let hospice in myself. Management is abysmal at best. Memory care individuals wandering in and out without supervision and into the wrong apartments. Time to call the ombudsman AGAIN!!

We like Meridian at Lantana! My wife and I helped my elderly aunt tour 3 assisted living places. My aunt sure liked the Meridian the best, so she decided & signed up and moved there.

The key guy, Riley, was very helpful to explain the different room types and level of care. We got a whole tour of the place. We were invited to lunch to try out the food and experience (both were awesome). We got to speak freely with 2-3 residents and they sure liked it and were pleasant to talk to. It was a very welcoming place to tour and see.

My aunt did move in a couple of weeks ago. The first week was hectic and a little scary for my aunt. Meridian gave "extra hands on" attention and did what they could to welcome my aunt. A few hiccups in getting a landline phone, but have since been resolved. After two weeks, my aunt seems to like the place. The monthly/daily activities are a big plus!! My aunt has participated in a few activities and enjoyed them. I think it is a BIG WIN, since my aunt was living alone in her own home and very dependent on friends to occasionally (or infrequently?) pick her up and drive her to shopping, banking, and activities. Meridian offers activities and driving services!

Every day I talk to my aunt, she sounds more "herself", and not so depressed. I have confidence that she will not only live a good life at Meridian , but to thrive too! in her last chapter of a good long life.

This is the WORST community ever!! My husband and I entertained there on October 5th. It is now February 15th and we still HAVE NOT BEEN PAID! We have tried on numerous occasions to reach them - from the activity director, to the bookkeeper and others. You can’t even reach anyone in Corporate! They hide from you!! Even a brand new Executive Director didn’t return our many phone calls! We pour our hearts out to their wonderful residents and they don’t even have the decency to call us back! We have NEVER been treated so unprofessionally, unethically and disgracefully! It is absolutely unacceptable! If they treat their entertainers like this, we would hate to imagine how they treat their poor residents! I don’t like to write negative reviews, in fact this is the first ever. However, the Meridian Lantana should be ashamed of themselves! A husband and wife who brought joy and laughter to their residents, who by the way loved our show, deserve so much more than this - the first thing of course - GETTING PAID! If anyone should ever ask us about this community we will tell them the awful truth! (And people always ask us!!).
Stu & Laurie

THIS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE COMMUNITY WROTE ME (you can read it) and had nothing but excuses for not paying us for our entertainment last October 5th!!! Yes, I said October 5th! PLEASE DO NOT EVER CONSIDER GOING TO MERIDIAN LANTANA! They are liars and they hide from you! They don’t care about their reputation, obviously. Absolutely disgraceful!!
The word is out there!
Stu & Laurie
