All of our senior living services are available as you need them, from our Independent Living, At-Home Services for in home support, Personal Care, or Affordable Senior Housing options. Assisted Living at The Long Community at Highland provides residents with the support they need at individually customized levels. Our staff works in harmony with residents and their families to ensure they meet each person's needs and can adjust care plans as those needs may change. You can expect our Assisted Living community to provide you or your senior loved one help with daily tasks like taking medications, bathing, dressing and maintaining a well-balanced diet. On top of daily necessities, Assisted Living at The Long Community at Highland helps residents stay engaged and involved in activities around the campus and with their peers. We provide the opportunity for companionship for those seniors who would rather not live alone and often host activities in a group setting to promote socialization.

Our private apartments have individually controlled thermostats and range from 396 to 440 square feet. We also offer Memory Support, which provides a small, intimate setting for those who need memory support. The home configurations and private apartments, along with specially trained staff, help create feelings of comfort and security.

We are licensed to provide in-home assistance with everyday tasks that may be difficult or unsafe for an individual to do alone. Professionally coordinated, our At-Home Services foster good health and will help to keep you in your home and independent for as long as possible.
At-Home Services are arranged for and provided by The Long Community at Highland staff who will work with you to develop a package of reasonably priced services tailored to meet your needs. Because we are on site, we don’t charge for travel time so you get more time with staff for the money. The Long Community at Highland also handles the criminal background checks, references, employee taxes and benefits, as well as insurance and workers compensation.
Our homemaker, companion, and nursing services help you enjoy your independence. We can assist in developing a package of services that is right for you, based on your health and support needs. Below are some of the services provided by our At-Home Services staff.
