My mom was a resident here for 2 years. It was constant frustration and stress, always fighting with the administration just to get what my mom needed. Terrible management, overworked and underpaid staff, with not enough staff to actually care for the residents there. Sometimes I would visit my mom and there would not be a single staff person supervising her floor - a floor compromised of mostly high needs, dementia residents. Horrible communication and unhygienic, unsafe conditions. Multiple occasions of finding random pills on the floor. Current Administrator and Resident Care Coordinator of The Living Center of Concord make no effort to involve families in their loved one’s care. The Living Center of Concord ignored Hospice referral requests for my mother for a month, and delayed her getting services she needed. All the while, threatening that they would discharge her and pressuring me to move her. After she moved out, they failed to reimburse her in a timely manner for days she had already paid for. They also continued to order her medications through the pharmacy they utilize, despite the fact that she was no longer there. They then kept the medications rather than returning them to the pharmacy, resulting in claims being filed with insurance and my mom being billed for those medications. I’ve reached out to corporate with multiple concerns and have gotten no resolution. I’ve filed complaints with the state and have seen no accountability. Definitely would not recommend.

Please don't put anyone here that you care about. This place is horrible, I won't say everyone here is but the bad definitely far outweigh the good. They will tell you that they are equipped to take care of alzheimers patients but all that means is they put all their memory patients on one floor so as to ignore them more easily. I honestly don't know how they are still open. There have been multiple complaints filed against them.

I went to visit a relative and I notice that the garbage was over flowing, the room was dirty and the food was bad. The beans didnt have any flavor, the ham was dry and the spinach was over cooked and no flavor.
