Laurenwood has truly been a blessing for my grandmother and for our family during such a difficult transition. From the moment she arrived, the staff has shown so much care, patience, and compassion. They make sure the patients are up and out of bed each morning, fed daily, and given opportunities to participate in activities, which means so much because it helps them still feel cared for and engaged. What stands out the most to me is how down-to-earth, kind, and personable the staff is. The nurses have been incredibly patient, especially during moments when this adjustment has been hard for my grandmother. This is a completely new chapter in her life, and while I know it has not been easy for her, I can honestly say in my heart that placing her at Laurenwood was the right decision. As a family member, there is always guilt, worry, and uncertainty when making a choice like this for someone you love so deeply. But seeing the level of care, attention, and compassion she receives here has given me peace of mind. For that, I am truly grateful.
