Probably the worst place to put a loved one they will crush all meds just to give them out at 6 am and scream at the elderly for not taking them bully employees into working longer than they have to Christina Clark in particular will say she’s going to look into a residents well being and sit in her office doing nothing

My family and I had a wonderful experience with The Bristal at Holtsville From the very beginning, the entire team made the process smooth, welcoming, and reassuring during what can often be a stressful transition.<br><br>Jerry and George were especially outstanding. They were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and supportive while we were transitioning our loved one into the community. They took the time to answer questions, guide us through the process, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and at ease. Their kindness and professionalism truly stood out.<br><br>The Executive Director was also fantastic and clearly committed to maintaining a high standard of care and a warm, supportive environment for residents and families.<br><br>Overall, the experience has been excellent. The staff genuinely care about the residents and their families, and it shows in everything they do. I would absolutely give The Bristal Holbrook a five-star review and highly recommend the community to anyone looking for a caring and well-run assisted living environment.

This place was a blessing. Our father had a medical emergency and had a long stay in the hospital and needed to be set up for an assisted living temporarily after being discharged. George and Geri from the start helped us through everything we could possibly need. They, along with everyone else truly are great and kind-hearted people. Every step of the way they made sure us and our father were well taken care of and in the best hands. The staff runs a tight ship and makes sure the residents are well taken care of; Such as having activities and things to do, being clean and upkept, and consistently taking their medicine daily and on time. Overall 10/10 experience. Our father is doing much better since being discharged and we attribute a great amount of credit to the Bristal and their staff for their efforts.

No structure in management. Out of all of the Bristal assisted livings this is definitely the projects in comparison. A Few to absolutely no English speaking employees/care aides , Miss treatment and favoritism with staff . Double diapering and neglect on a regular basis with residents!! Please be careful if you choose to send your love ones to this location, looks can be extremely deceiving , and It could literally save their lives!!! many open promises to residence, staff, and family without any action to follow; the second you sign on that dotted line. Definitely think twice before falling into this money hungry trap! Every single department is under experience and ,under staff the only nurse they have for the entire building is a young kid that may or may not actually be certified as a LPN, an every other week your relative will have a UTI that may or may not kill them due to the lack of peri care , peri care not given properly or just pure LAZINESS. Our relatives are old not senile listen to there complaints there valid. STAY AWAY !!!

The Bristal at Holtsville is beautiful. The transition for my moms move was very smooth. Special shout out to Gerri and George who were so helpful, caring and a pleasure to work with during this time.
