I have to post my experience at Sunrise of Smithtown this week. I have been researching & touring senior livings across the island for my dad. This is the hardest decision i have had to make & by far Sunrise has been comforting from the start. The staff were so welcoming and there was such a warm feeling while being there. Everyone I had interaction with was knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. This is still such a tough decision but after seeing how clean the facility is & how caring all the staff was it definitely makes this decision a little easier. This felt like “home” & I feel my dad will be loved & cared for. I believe this is the best decision i can make. Thank you to all the staff, I look forward to this wonderful home for dad.

All assisted living facilities is basically a robbery of your inheritance. My mother lived there and in January. They raised her rent a $1000 a month. And when we moved out, they insisted, we owed them more money. After we paid them 2 months to move in, someone named Lisa M called me, shouting at me on the phone that she was going to get lawyers, and and she was going to get me Threatening me on the phone, stay away from them.

The whole vibe when I walked in the door was very warm and inviting. Sharon gave us our tour very informative on all the offerings and showed us the rooms explained everything in detail We ended up putting my dad there and are very happy
