I am surprised this review is still being used. This was the Fountains review back in the day. Have no idea what this place is like now, Mom passed away January 2015.<br><br>Mom (87) has been at The Fountains for almost two years now, residing in the assisted living portion of the facility with dementia and edema.<br>After living in the St. Pete's area for 35 years, Mom would not return to Chicago with me.<br>I, her daughter who resides in the Chicago area was overwhelmed when Mom first became a resident at The Fountains. However, within weeks I knew this was the right place for her.<br>Every time I call, Mom tells me "she is treated like a queen".<br>Therefore, I am grateful to the staff who so lovely take care of her daily needs.

I just had the most wonderful interaction with Takisha Butler, the Director of Business Operations for The Barclay at Pasadena. She is extremely knowledgeable, warm, friendly, kind, and compassionate. My situation is very complicated, and she went out of her way to reassure me and put me at ease. Her level of expertise was immediately apparent, as was her philosophy of doing whatever is best for each family and their unique situation.<br><br>After suddenly losing my dad, I recently found myself in charge of my mom's care and finances, and life is very overwhelming right now. I have to use a few different accounts to pay my mom's bill for the facility, and I was concerned this would be a difficult, stressful process. But Takisha could not have made it easier for me. She was so accommodating and just a delight to work with.<br><br>Thank you for making my life a little easier. I am deeply grateful.

We helped my 85 y.o. father recently move into Elance at Pasadena independent living and we couldn't be happier. The process was extremely smooth and hassle-free. The complex is well maintained and in an outstanding location, right on the water. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rent includes 2 meals a day and is an excellent value for the price. We highly recommend Elance.

Don't put your parents there! My mother had someone put their hands up her shorts. Would not go back and the place still charged me for rent. The food is awful and the elevators are always broke.

This place is beautiful!!! Ms.Takisha Butler appears to be well qualified, great professionalism, compassion, friendly and very knowledgeable. The warmth you feel makes you want to share it with others. This place appears to have a sense of safety. This is definitely a 5-Star!!!
