The new check in procedure is quick, easy and secure. The facility is getting renovated. The entrance is difficult to find the first time you’re there. The upstairs is the only floor occupied due to storm damage. The staff is very friendly and take good care of the people there. They have a rehab team that works hard to get the maximum benefit. The activities crew is always trying to engage. There is always something to do. They really care about their quality of life. The only difficulty, entering and exiting is awkward. For security purposes and safety of the residents you ring a bell and wait for someone to come down and escort you upstairs. The same procedure for exiting. Often they’re busy so there can sometimes be a wait. My husband is very happy and seems to be content there and that’s the most important thing. It gives me peace of mind to know he is being taken care of so well. Believe me this is the third facility he’s been in and the first two were a horror. I rest easy now knowing he’s well cared for.

I’m impressed by the dedication, organization, and compassion shown at Gulfport Nursing Center. The leadership team goes above and beyond to ensure both residents and staff are supported. They are always focused on safety and planning and running training drills. The CNAs are so nice and were great with my Dad. The facility is well-maintained, and their attention to emergency preparedness and quality standards gives families real peace of mind. It’s clear that everyone here takes pride in providing the highest level of care and service. The Friday Ice Cream Social was his favorte thing to do. That and the Bing Crowd takes it very seriously. I highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking a safe, caring place for their loved one. They even go BOWLING!!! This truely has been a blessing. Check it out.

My name is Denise.I spent 3 months in your care at gulf port rehabilitation center.and I left the 27 of June.. During this long period I was taken care of by very skilled nurses and aids. The nurses in charge of medication were absolutely professional . I became close to many employees and my stay was very pleasant regardless of my serious handicap. I wish that the renovation of the place will start soon, on the first floor. The beautiful park with beautiful trees is taking care of regularly.
