This facility ought to be shut down. Any recent 4 or 5 star reviews are not to be believed. Moved my sister out today after a brutal 6 month stay where I had to fight for everything marketing promises, not to mention the basic care she and everyone deserves and is paying far too much for. Residents are basically ignored all day, particularly in memory care. Those poor people are languishing in boredom, with a big ZERO of activities geared to dementia. They do nothing but sit in front of the TV with loud game shows. Meals are awful, especially lately, nearly inedible. Snacks and hydration, few and far between. Yes, care staff yank plates away after 10 minutes, they made my sister eat with her fingers on many occasions, and yes, residents sit in their own urine, sometimes urine is on the floor beneath their wheelchairs.
Carestaff are hit or miss, good and bad, many hate working there, complain and snipe back and forth in front of residents and families. Raised voices, swearing, staff frequently quit and walk out. Its a joke. The biggest joke, though is the E.D. Amanda Cromer, who has zero management skills and even fewer people skills. She is unresponsive, disinterested in the issues I brought to her and, in fact, during a recent meeting in which she and I were supposed to be discussing my concerns, she instead invited me to move my sister out because she felt I'd never be happy. She even waived the two week notice! Awesome.
Happy to be OUT of there. Do your loved one a favor and opt for someplace else. Please!

Employee's rude to older ladies in Stax restaurant in front of everyone loud enough for this half of the restaurant to go silent. I hope you guys aren't mean to them behind closed doors if your publicly humiliating them in restaurants. Pathetic.

My mom has been here for a couple of months now. I have had the best experience with everyone! The staff is super friendly. I communicate a lot with Amanda and she has helped me through this whole experience to make it as painless as possible. They really seem to care about the resident’s and I couldn’t be happier knowing my mom is being well taken care of. 💛

I waited almost a month to leave this review as I didn’t want to leave an openly bitter review just a factual one from our families experience.
We started here with my mother in law in October 2025. Tour was appealing and price point was definitely appealing! Our first 8-10 weeks were good. If there was a question or concern it was addressed and resolved pretty quickly. Somewhere in that period a shift happened.
The staff is not very happy. They openly complain about their jobs. They talk loudly over residents while complaining about what they are going to have to do for their people.
The residents do not get to use the patio. It is a fire door to a patio that is always locked. In 6 months I only witnessed it being used a handful of times but it takes a lock code to get in and out which leaves residents unable to go out freely.
There are more things but I’m not trying to get too long winded.
If your loved one is content to just hang out and watch cartoons or news this place is probably ok.
Keep an eye on medication and nutrition.
