I cannot begin to say how impressed I am with Shepherds care. My Brother and I were looking for a better place for our Mother who had dementia. From the warm greetings the moment we came in we knew this was very different from so many other places. It was very clean and smelled good. The Director was so friendly and everyone called each other by name. The Menus were fantastic and simple so the resident does not have to navigate a maze of decisions. The rooms were beautiful with big windows and so much light. This place is like a homey boarding house. I would want to live here. The staff seem to go out of their way to make the residents feel special. Speaking of residents… guess what? Instead of staying in their rooms they were all out enjoying activities, or even just being in the lounge chairs reading, playing games, doing puzzles and visiting with each other. Another amazing aspect… no one was staring at their cell phone and we never saw staff members ignoring the residents because their phone was more important. In other places I have witnessed staff feeding residents with one hand and watching you tube with the other. The price of Shepherds care was 1/3 less than where we had our Mother. Our Mother passed on to glory and we sure know she would have loved Shepard’s Care. If you have a loved one who needs a safe friendly place that feels like a warm home at a fraction of the cost of the big corporate franchises, I sure hope you will come here. Thank you all for giving Greenville a wonderful option.

I feel so blessed to have come across Shepherd's Care. It's on a whole nother level than the facility my mom lived at before she moved here. This place actually smells GOOD. Even if you have more money for a place that looks fancier, I feel confident in telling you, you won't get better care there and you would at Shepherd's Care. I could cite many reasons for my 5 star review, but this would become a very long review, so I'll sum it up to say, I have more peace now about my mom than I ever have, and I actually trust the folks who are caring for her there and appreciate them so much!!!

Shepherd’s Care is a community of warm, caring staff and clients. The staff is personable and compassionate.
