Our dad is a current resident at Magnolia Manor. I cannot say enough about how well he is being cared for!! From the front office staff, to all of his care givers, nursing and PT, they are taking great care of him. My aunt asked him yesterday how they take care of him when family is NOT there, and he said “they are great and treat we well and with respect“. My brother and I are out of state and the staff keeps us updated on his care plan and progress.

I have a relative in this HORRIBLE place. She slept on the same sheets for 2 weeks same face cloth. Food always cold she said to me. We were talking on the phone last night around 6:50 I asked what she had for dinner and she had been waiting since 6:00. I would never put my Mom here. Run down building smells bad and filth 😠

My mother has been here for 5 days and already experienced a situation with one of the employees. She didn’t recognize 2 of the pills as medication she takes daily and so she questioned it. The male employee got mad and threw the pills on the floor. When a family member visited her today, the medicine was still on the floor. I called the facility and asked for the employees name. I was told they cannot give it out names of employees. Since, I can’t have a name to make a complaint against the employee then I’m writing this review. If employees are throwing medicine, then what else are they doing.

If I could give 0 stars I would, my dad got his leg amputated and then went to magnolia manor for is physical therapy ect. They left him on the bed in his fecal matter for 4 hours and when he finally got the strength up to get in his wheelchair to go to the bathroom to clean himself he couldn’t get up off the toilet no matter how hard he tried he sat on that toilet for 2 hours. I can’t tell you how upset and disappointed I am with this facility. I have no idea how they could treat someone with such neglect. And he also went up to the front desk to speak with them and they mocked him, and laughed at him. And they discharged him today and told my aunt who picked him up that his leg “ may be infected “ thankfully we went to the hospital and they said it doesn’t look bad. But they are worried he has congestive heart failure. Please do not let your loved ones come here. All the horror stories you hear online seem to happen here.

My brother stayed in this nursing home for four months. This nursing home sets itself apart by the great people who work there. Whenever I called the main reception number Brenda cheerfully answered the phone and got me to the right person. The social worker (Lisa) was especially knowledgeable and helpful to my brother and to me as his personal representative. Lisa was very engaged in his care, answered her phone, and promptly responded to emails. Magnolia Manor helped with my brother's Medicaid application until it was approved. We are so thankful for that. My brother saw many specialists including a therapist which is not offered at all homes. He liked having coffee with a group on a daily basis. Thank you Magnolia Manor.
