Team Select is a great organization to work with. The leadership and management are approachable and promote genuine work ethics. I know they are always available for questions or guidance. The best thing about being home health nurse is the opportunity to care for kids and support their families so they may have a better outcome beyond the hospital care. I love this assignment. I have never worked as a home health nurse. It is an awesome experience and I wish I had done it many years ago. I have very limited pediatric experience but I feel like Team Select Home Care was intent on making sure the family was comfortable with me and vise versa. They have patients with a wide arrangement of ages and medical needs. If you are thinking of retiring due to the how the nursing profession continues to add more stress and less commitment to the the patient and the nurse... THIS IS MY ANSWER TO CONTINUE TO FOLLOW MY PSSSION OF CARING FOR OTHERS. I have the peace of knowing I am helping others and not just punching the time clock and trying not to drown. This has been a great company to work for. Everyone I worked with has been very responsive, supportive, kind, and professional. They have flexible hours and lots of shifts available which has been amazing and the scheduler is good about putting out the company needs to pick up extra shifts!
