Lutheran Life Villages - The Village at Pine Valley

The Village at Pine Valley, part of Lutheran Life Villages, is a short-term senior rehabilitation and long-term nursing community located on Fort Wayne's northwest side. The campus has earned a five-star rating from CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services), and Parkview Health has selected Pine Valley to participate in its High Performing Network. Its location offers convenient proximity to medical facilities including Parkview Regional Medical Center and Dupont Hospital.

The community offers private, short-term rehab suites, as well as private and semi-private rooms for long-term care. Residents receive compassionate care from knowledgeable staff supporting overall wellness throughout their stay, whatever its duration.

Dining takes place in sunlit dining rooms with meals made fresh and cooked from scratch, served by attentive staff. The community accommodates unique dietary needs, including gluten-free, vegetarian, low-sugar, and low-salt options, all supervised by a licensed dietician, with snacks available throughout the day.

As a faith-based organization, Lutheran Life Villages provides a full-time Pastoral Care team to serve residents' and families' spiritual needs, including regular church services, Bible studies, and other spiritual growth opportunities. Residents are encouraged to join life-enriching programs such as chapel services, games, music, and intergenerational programming, with a monthly Activities Calendar available at the front desk. The community also partners in the Foster Grandparents program, connecting resident volunteers as role models and mentors to young, low-income children.

A Social Services team supports the medically-related social and psycho-social needs of each resident and is available to families for matters such as room changes, financial concerns, or general support. The team is also knowledgeable about community resources and coordinates all discharges.
