We transferred my dad to Sunrise of Alexandria May 2026. I cannot say enough about the care and compassion my dad receives from the staff in Alexandria. My dad enjoys the meals, participates in the exercise activities and special events. He goes out once a month for mani/pedis even though he is wheelchair bound.<br><br>As a family we visit my dad weekly. His room and the environment is always kept CLEAN! We also enjoy the meals both regular and special events meals!!! My dad needs assistance with grooming and he is well attended to. Sunrise of Alexandria is a loving, caring, safe place for my dad! Thank you.

I volunteered at this location a few times and the atmosphere is awesome. Staff and residents were all so welcoming and we had a great time together. Will definitely be back!

In addition to being a beautiful place. what I noticed most when I toured Sunrise was that the staff and residents were happy, which means a lot. When my mother went into Sunrise from a rehab center, she couldn’t even stand on her own without falling. After only a month, she is walking now with a walker and doesn’t need her wheelchair except for when she is really tired. She is on the memory-care floor, but after a month of being there, she is definitely more alert and interacts with people more. I am amazed at the genuine concern and individual care the staff provides (even little things like knowing my mother likes her coffee black and doesn’t like oatmeal). I come from out of state and stay overnight for a few days as often as I can, and I look forward to going there! I don’t think I could find a better care facility for my mother than Sunrise. It has really eased my stress level knowing that my mother is safe and truly cared about at Sunrise.

I happened to come across your facility by chance. Even from the outside, something about it caught my attention, and I had a feeling it might be a senior care community.
