St. Anthony's Gardens

St. Anthony's Gardens is a resort-style senior living community in Covington, Louisiana, offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care on a 24-acre campus of wooded and landscaped grounds.

Independent living residents enjoy a healthy, active lifestyle with housekeeping, lawn service, 24-hour concierge service, complimentary transportation to scheduled events, and high-speed internet. The 120 independent living units feature 9-foot ceilings, gourmet-style kitchens with islands, full-sized appliances, and washer-dryer units. Assisted living consists of 57 units where residents receive assistance with activities of daily living, medication management, weekly housekeeping, three meals daily, and access to transportation for medical appointments and community services. The memory care neighborhood serves residents with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias in 36 spacious suites, with 24-hour care staff, dedicated secure walking areas, and specialized activities.

The community features an elegant dining room with menus prepared by an award-winning chef, multiple exercise and strength training rooms, an art studio, theatre, salon services, business center, library, chapel, and covered porches. Licensed nurses are available 24/7 in the assisted living and memory care neighborhoods. Cultural and social gatherings, fitness classes, travel discussions, movies, and outdoor activities are regular offerings for residents.

St. Anthony's Gardens is conveniently located to churches, shopping, local hospitals, and medical services on the Northshore. The community is pet friendly, with policies on weight and size restrictions for dogs and other pets, and offers ample green space for walking.

Operated by CommCare Corporation, a Louisiana-based non-profit established in 1994, the community received the 2026 American Healthcare Association Silver National Quality Award.
