My mother is a resident at Greenbriar and I could not express how happy I am with all the staff there. The residents each have private rooms and are treated with respect. The facility is very clean and well maintained. I could not have chosen a better place for my mother

Momma, 87, fell and broke her hip and after surgery was transferred to Greenbrier for rehab. As momma has advanced Alzheimer’s, my sister and I were nervous about this and being the momma bears we are, for her first week we staying with her, night and day. We are pleasantly pleased. What we are witnessing with momma, as well as watching staff interact with others there, is patience, care and compassion. Of course we only see in momma’s room or in common areas but this is our observation. From the assistance from Jessica and Maria during approval and admittance, the bus driver (she was and is amazing), the nurses, her doctor, his NP, the care team staff, dining hall staff, therapists, everyone, it’s been a good experience for us as mommas caregivers. We will point out our special names to management upon discharge but for here just say we have yet to meet a cross person! Everyone is so caring and helpful. We feel comfortable enough now to leave momma there from time to time without us, checking in of course daily. With her advanced Alzheimer’s that may become difficult but we will try, as they all say “we got her”. We have weekly update meetings with the charge nurse, case worker, and therapists to hear our concerns and their progress updates. Since she is still there and this is mid review I’ll come back for my final review after leaving her alone from time to time but as of now, one week in, we are happy with what we see. Not to mention the place is clean, smells good, decorated for the holidays so cute all throughout the building, and food is good (I’ve tried it as sometimes eat mommas leftovers 😝). So far I give it five stars.

We have just placed my 90 year old aunt Jane in the GREENBRIAR Community Care Center. This was a very difficult decision for us but after visiting the facility and meeting with many of the administrators and staff, we cannot be happier. We wanted to move her to California and live with us, but realized we were not able to provide the services and necessary care she required. This facility looks like a five Star hotel!! We are beyond grateful for this facility and the staff that will be providing care for our aunt Jane. Jane is scheduled to have her hair styled next week in the onsite salon!! Thank you everyone at GREENBRIAR!!!
