After having my mom live in several different assisted living and senior living settings—and personally touring more places than I can count—I can honestly say that finding Annie and her home has been an absolute gift.<br><br>As a psychologist, I am particularly attuned to the social and emotional wellbeing of older adults, and I know that good care is about so much more than making sure someone is clean, fed, and medically cared for. It is about creating an environment where a person feels safe, valued, connected, engaged, and genuinely happy. Annie has created exactly that.<br><br>From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth of the environment she has so thoughtfully curated. The caregivers are warm, loving, attentive, and genuinely invested in the residents. There is a genuine sense of warmth, connection, and family in the home, and it is clear that Annie has created an environment where residents are truly known and cared for. Annie is incredibly on top of my mom’s health, changing needs, and day-to-day wellbeing. She communicates so easily and consistently, and I always feel that if something comes up, she is paying attention and will handle it.<br><br>For the first time since I began caring for my mom in 2022, I feel relaxed. That is something I honestly never thought I would be able to say. I no longer feel like I have to constantly worry about whether my mom is okay or whether her needs are being noticed. I can simply spend time with her and enjoy her.<br><br>And, perhaps most importantly, my mom is having FUN. There is music, singing, karaoke, laughter, and so much warmth and social interaction. She looks forward to the activities and genuinely enjoys the people around her. The caregivers also cook wonderful homemade food and have taken the time to learn what my mom likes, which has made such a difference—she is eating well, looking healthier, and, most importantly, looking HAPPY.<br><br>Seeing my mom looking this happy and healthy again after some very difficult years is something I will always be grateful for.<br><br>I have seen firsthand how different senior living environments can be, and I would recommend Annie’s home without hesitation. Finding this home has given our family something we desperately needed: peace of mind—and the ability to simply enjoy our time together again.<br><br>I could not be more grateful to Annie and her wonderful caregivers.
