No no no. Accidentally touched the three stars.. couldn’t remove them and give minus three stars. I stayed her for five days following hip replacement surgery. Nursing staff was for the most part incompetent.. There was no elevating nor icing on my leg as was ordered Not ONE TIME!! I Nurses would withhold meds if you were questioning them in any sort of way.. I had too check myself out before I either had a nervous breakdown or either contacted infections. Left with concerns of cellulitis setting up. The ONLY ONE CONCERNED WAS ME!!<br>The three stars here definitely go too the physical therapists,,<br>Just don’t go here is my honest recommendation. Horrible place.

My sister stayed in this facility for a few days and it was great! Very nice room , and the staff was responsive to anything that we needed. She needed physical therapy after a long hospital stay and skilled nursing. They found a blood clot in her leg and unfortunately , she had to leave back to SRH. They even provided someone to sit with her for the first night because of her anxiety. God bless Rose Crest!

I wish that Google would give a choice of negative stars. I would definitely use a negative 10.<br><br>Please don't take people here. My 2.5 days in this place have left me with deep emotional scars that I may never recover from. I left there with a deeper empathy for victims of elder abuse/neglect and concentration camp prisoners.<br><br>I will share just a few things as a means of warning anyone considering this site:<br>- It took 2.5 hours for them to get the tiny little room ready for me to use AFTER the EMS people dropped me off. I asked to be taken back to the hospital because the conditions that I had seen were so bad. Another ambulance was called. They joined the anti-patient group that had gathered in the tiny room to add to my frustrations. They told me that they could only take me back to the hospital, leave me in the hospital ER hallway, and hope that someone would attend to me. Knowing that my husband could not find the site alone, I felt defeated, alone, hopeless, and still in need of medical care after my knee replacement surgery. I had no choice but to stay at Rosecrest until I could get myself out.<br><br>Two of my friends came to visit the following day. They were appalled by the room, food tray, unsanitary building, and lack of patient care.<br><br>Our son drove from Raleigh to bring my husband for a visit. They were appalled too. My son offered to take me home. I told him that I had been told that if I left without using the proper discharge process, it might negatively impact my insurance coverage.<br><br>While at Rosecrest, I repeatedly told nurses and aides that I wanted to leave and asked to see the people that could arrange that. I was told each time that none of those people worked on weekend days and I would just have to wait until Monday. I was even told that there was not anyone "on call" to take care of my request. Their doctor released me on Monday.<br><br>There was a rodent box behind the commode. I never saw any rodents, but plenty of "sounds" were audible at night.<br><br>I asked for a hospital gown to wear. It was never brought that day. The following day, a small retail store sleep shirt was on my bed. It absolutely reeked with body odor. When a therapist came , I told her about the ignored gown request, showed her the sleep shirt, and shared with her that I had been unable to get toilet paper restocked. She brought the gown and toilet paper to me herself.<br><br>I could not eat the food that they served. It was an unhealthy balance (ex.potatoes and corned beef with a hash round), cold, and looked bad. My family and one friend brought me some survival food. One day, my friend went to get me some ice. They let her go into the room where plates were assembled to get it herself. She said that the room was disgustingly nasty.<br><br>The noise from the halls and nurses station was awful. One night, about 10:00, I went into the hall and told the first person I saw that we were trying to go sleep.... ( I was in room B. Another patient was in the adjoining room A.)<br><br>There was absolutely NO help given for personal care. I had just had knee replacement surgery. The lady in Room A was in a wheelchair. We both had to sponge bathe and dress ourselves. It took several requests for me to get clean towels for our use. There was no receptacle for the used bathing cloths. We put them in the corner of the shower. At one point, the pile was probably 4 foot high. I believe that they were only removed then to avoid exposure on Monday morning.<br><br>Cleaning the room and bedding did not happen!<br><br>The trash kept accumulating in the cans until it was overflowing. It was collected the same time that the dirty bathing towels were collected. Even then, the person didn't put disposable bags in the cans. The bathroom can was not even put into the silver receptacle - just balanced to hoover within the space. The bedding was never changed or refreshed for me or the lady in Room A.<br><br>This page will not allow my full version of this review. I was allowed to leave Monday morning. I cried many joyful tears as I praised God, my husband, and my friend for rescuing me.

A collegue's mother in law is there and they are so very impressed.They note that everyone knows her name, and that she is receiving exceptional care. She occasionaly has some memory concerns, and they are patient and kind with her. ou can really tell that the staff enjoy taking care of her and she loves them too. It really is the very best place.
