Rolling Hills Manor has proven to be a wonderful place for my aunt to live. She was transferred there from a more traditional memory care facility, where she exhibited violent behaviors. As Tammie, manager at Rolling Hills, explained, some people with dementia don't adjust to larger, institutional facilities. She and her staff used patience, redirection, and other techniques to lessen the frequency and severity of my aunt's verbal outbursts and violent actions. She now considers Rolling Hills her home, interacting appropriately with the staff and residents. She helps with the dishes, participates in exercise and other group activities, and really seems to fit into the group there. I am thankful every day that she ended up at Rolling Hills. I am especially thankful for Tammie and the staff there. Bless you all!
