My parents are in their mid nineties and have lived at WellPoint for 2 years. The entire staff is friendly, helpful, and somehow seems to know everybody’s name. Anna, Nancy, Patti, and Bobbie have been especially helpful in many ways. My parents came from Georgia, but now consider Wellpoint their home and are very happy. My parents do Jaci’s exercise classes, enjoy ordering their meals from the menu each day, walk the indoor track on their floor, and sit in the front porch rockers on pretty days. Couldn’t imagine a better place for them.

Beautiful, clean facility and friendly staff, but after spending three days at Well Point with my 91-year-old father, I would not recommend it.<br><br>My biggest concern is resident safety and the facility's apparent lack of support for aging in place. After leaving, I became increasingly concerned about my father's ability to continue living independently. I called multiple times and left messages for the Executive Director, Allison Yancey, but never received a return call. That lack of communication was disappointing, especially given the seriousness of my concerns.<br><br>From my experience, Well Point does not appear to have a clear process for evaluating residents whose cognitive or physical abilities may be declining or for helping them transition to a higher level of care when needed. I was also unable to obtain meaningful information about assisted living options. It left me with the impression that too much responsibility falls on fellow residents and non-clinical staff to notice and address safety concerns.<br><br>The dining experience was also disappointing. The dinner I was served consisted of a small wilted iceberg lettuce salad and a modest portion of diced chicken with stewed tomatoes and soggy bread. My father received a small bowl of cream soup and a small serving of goulash that was mostly broth with very little meat. Breakfast appeared more nutritious, and I appreciated that meal. However, overall, the food quality and variety fell well below what I have seen at other senior living communities. I was also told the coffee machine had been out of service for some time and that residents were limited to one cup of coffee.<br><br>Finally, I understand that Well Point no longer offers water aerobics, which was surprising given the importance of fitness and wellness programs for seniors.<br><br>While the facility itself is attractive and the staff members I encountered were friendly, the lack of responsiveness, concerns about resident safety, limited support for changing care needs, and disappointing dining experience make it difficult for me to recommend Well Point to other families.<br><br>If I shared a photo it would be of my father's unexplained black eye.

Great atmosphere, friendly, spacious, you can hear bull frogs in the pond singing at night. Absolutely amazing. They have a huge beautiful golf course. They have someone that comes in, and cooks Habachi.

Wonderful , caring team at Residences at Wellpoint. They have weekly outings, daily activities and really understand how to enrich my father's life.
