My mother was a patient here for a year up until her death. The nurses were always amazing. They treated my mother like family & she loved her caregivers. We didn’t have time to choose a SNF when the time came. We just picked this place & hoped for the best & we’re glad we did. This home treated us all great. To those leaving one star reviews & reading them like they have any bearing? They don’t. I’ve spent time in the medical field & as a social worker. Families will find anything to complain about. Families expect everything to be done instantly for their mee maw. Guess what? There’s a whole home full of sick people who need help just as much. I’m sorry this isn’t the Hilton & room service isn’t coming for your mee maw fast enough. And I deeply apologize that seeing a nail in the wall was so serious to you, I’m sure it ruined your day, I hope you were able to reintegrate to society. Understand we live in a broken system where a small minority of people control a majority of money. If you think this nursing home is outdated but you don’t advocate for better funding YOU’RE the problem. If you vote to fund tax decreases for the rich YOU’RE the problem. Not the caregivers who watch people die day in & day out & then come back in the next day & have to hold their trauma in deep while being severely underpaid. Maybe before you leave another one star review try doing what these caregivers do day in & day out for very little money because America cares more about compensating business owners than caregivers. To anyone who is still reading this, Neffsville Nursing & Rehab is a GOOD choice & they provide good care if you check your entitlement & privilege & understand everyone is in the same boat as you. People are human. But to nitpick at these caregivers because granny didn’t like her turkey sandwich? Go to Sheetz. Take some responsibility yourself & if you really don’t like the state of nursing homes & healthcare in America stop voting for people who care more about their wallets than yours & your families life. Or better yet, if you think you can do better take your loved one home & care for them 24/7 then tell me just how “bad” this nursing home is. Neffsville, we thank you for caring for our family.
