I had a a complete knee replacement, had no idea what it would amount to trying to go home from hospital taking care of myself, im 67 st Charles helped me get set up with a rehab center. Regency in Redmond the town I live in. They were over the top excellent. Im still amazed at how great they took care of me and helped me get better to go home. I was there 2 weeks had physical therapy every day, was so well taken care of they even transported me to my post op appointment in Bend. Every employee there was so kind excellent professional at there job. They work so hard with such a caring attitude. I will forever be so grateful they were there for me to help me out. I wish I could name every last person there who helped me. If you or a loved one needs this carevthey are there for us. I will be writing our politicians to tell my story and for them to protect medical care, like Medicare to keep a wonderful facility like this here for our community. Again im so thankful for the help I got, and the wonderful nice people there that helped. God Bless them all.

My grandpa has stayed in this rehab 3 times over the past 6 years. We were really unhappy with the care and cleanliness of the facility before and dreaded having him back here HOWEVER there has been a HUGEEE turnaround. They would serve him dinner on his tray next to a full urinal, the halls smelt of urine and the staff always seemed stretch super thin. My grandpa is 96 and easily agitated these days and yet the staff only has nice things to say and seem to speak of him fondly even though he is not being his sweet usual self. The halls smell clean and his bedding is always spotless. I don’t know what changed but I would 1000% recommend the rehab that this one has turned into. It’s a pleasant environment with competent and caring staff.

I would highly suggest that you think twice about this facility. This facility has to be understaffed because they left one of my elders in unfit situations. They leave patients lying in their own waist for way too long they don't empty the trash cans or clean the rooms regularly they don't listen to their patients regarding meals or hygiene after meals. Not to mention my elder was assigned to a room that had no bathroom so there was just a porta potty. Also the physical therapy along with the preparedness for discharged to home care, is very pedestrian. This is a facility that screams the term "Buyer Beware"

I am writing this review to share my concerns about the care my mother, received during her recent three day stay at this facility. My mother was admitted on 3/7/25. During my visit Sunday 3/9/25, I witnessed some troubling events that really raised questions about the level of attention and care provided. My mother had to wait an entire hour for assistance after notifying the nursing staff that she had soiled herself and needed to be changed. Despite ringing for help three times, it took an hour for anyone to respond, and when they finally did, they informed me that two staff members were needed to change her. Unfortunately, this resulted in her sitting in urine and feces for two hours. Things only got worse when my mother's dinner was sent to the wrong room. They just sent it back to the kitchen and no one seemed to realize that she hadn't received her meal or that she still needed changed. After several attempts to call for help, I finally went into the hallway to speak with a Nurse, who was shocked by the situation and quickly stepped in to help alongside another staff member. When they finally brought her dinner, it was a turkey sandwich instead of the Alfredo meal she was supposed to receive. Although the head nurse mentioned that dinner had already been cleared up, I voiced my concern that this mistake was their responsibility and needed to be corrected. Sadly, the only alternative offered was hot soup, which is not suitable due to my mother’s recent recovery from thrush. These incidents raise serious concerns about the neglect my mother faced during her 3-night stay. According to the Oregon Administrative Rules for Nursing Facilities, residents should receive care tailored to their individual needs, which clearly was not the case here. This experience makes me question the adequacy of their staffing levels as well. I hope these issues are addressed promptly, as I worry about the quality of care my mother will receive moving forward. I encourage the management to take immediate action to rectify these violations to ensure better care for all residents.

A dear friend of my mother was placed in Regency Rehabilitation she was admitted on a Thursday afternoon and she did get some type of therapy evaluation on Thursday afternoon but then she did not get any more therapy over the weekend. She was placed in a room with another women which is fine but the room was made for on person. My mother's friends bed was pushed against the wall with no TV. There was not a bathroom in the room either. When she arrived in the facility they put a catheter on her even though she was not incontinent and they never got her out of bed to sit in a chair. Due to lack of movement she developed pneumonia and a pulmonary embolism and had to transported back to the hospital after only being there 3 days. . If you decide to place your family member there make sure you check on them frequently.
