Today I was there visiting family member. Her bed was not working so she could not sit up to eat. I spoke to one of the employees and she said they had notified maintenance a few times and were told to just wiggle the cord which is hey had tried numerous times my. He said he was unable to come because he was at a game. Next thing I knew 4 of the female employees and 1 male brought her another bed got her situated and sitting up so she could eat. They all had her laughing. It was such a great situation and great attitudes from all. Way to fix the problem. This job they do is very hard and I do not feel they get paid enough Hopefully management will recognize these employees. They went above and beyond. I appreciate that so much ch.

My Dad, Bill, was here for a year. I was so amazed to see how well he was received from all staff and residents. My Dad improved so much here and he enjoyed life again. He was very happy. Dad passed away peacefully at his home under Hospice Care 9-10-23, he was 87 years old. He passed away six weeks after his wife of 66 yrs, Jill, 82 years old, passed away peacefully at her home 7-24-23. I appreciate each of you for your time and help 💕🙏💕 Thank you, from the middle child you never knew existed.

My experience is terrible...most of the staff are good. BUT IF YOU CALL FOR HELP FROM YOUR ROOM IT TAKES THE STAFF MINUTES NOT 5 BUT CLOSE T0 15 MINUTES TO 30 MINUTES TO GET TO YOU, SO I HAD TO GET MYSELF UP TO USED THE BATHROOM, I HAD HIP SURGRY. OTHER RESIDENTS HERE HAVE THEIR TV SO LOUD YOU NEED TO KEEP YOUR DOOR CLOSED EVEN THE STAFF IS LOUD. FOOD IS HORRIBLE THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO FULLY COOK A HAMBURGER PATTY THE MENU FOR THIS YEAR IS WHAT WAS PREPARED BACK IN 2016. THE ROOMS ARE. NOT CLEAN AND THEY LOOK LIKE A CHEAP MOTEL. THIS PLACE MORE OF A HOME FOR THE ELDERLY THAN A REHABILITATION CENTER. THIS WHERE US WITH THE OREGON HEALTH PLAN ARE TAKEN TO. THE OWNERS OF THIS PROFIT MAKING PLACE ARE LINING THEIR POCKETS MAKING OVER 9000 DOLLARS PER PERSON. A PERSON DOES NOT HEAL WELL WHEN WHERE YOU ARE PLACE IN A PLACE LIKE THIS, IT IS DEPRESSING!!! TRY TO FIND A DIFFERENT PLACE THAN OCHOCO REHABILITION. I DID NOT GET THE CHOICE TO WHERE I WAS SENT IF I HAD HAD A CHANCE TO TOUR THIS PLACE AND THEN FOUND OUT THIS IS WHERE I WAS GOING TO I WOULD HAVE REFUSED TO BE LEFT HERE!!! I DO NOT KNOW IN THE OTHER REHABITION UNDER THE REGENCY WHO ALSO IS A PARENT COMPANY OF OCHOCO REHABITION ON ELM STREET IN PRINEVILLE OREGON.

This place should get a - minus 5 star The management team are bullies the workers they ran short staffed all the time. My advice would be to look at management see how things are ran the workers are there to do the work management is the one that’s the schedule the staff which is always short because resident care manager refuses to work as an aid And so on. Any building or facility that looks at saving money penny pinching in dietitian scheduling or short staffing to reserve back on budget I see as a place I would not ever put any of my family members
