This James daughter Linda my sister and I couldn’t be more pleased . It was the hardest thing for Kim and I and our husbands to do . My husband and I were living and caring for dad for two years as he started to decline and having more ER trips they helped me with placing him . We were set to go to the carriage place in Prineville until they lied to us . I had heard horror stories of when PLC was Adhley manor . I was so afraid but then I heard it was under new management. Kim and I took a tour met the staff, they are the best group of men and women we’ve ever met. I live in Prineville until so dad is a 10 min drive away. He loves all the staff there and is doing so good. Kim and I are so happy we made this choice. Linda Shelfer

I checked this place out before I brought my uncle Ernie there and the place was nice and the staff were nice. I was told what the price was after uncle Ernie was evaluated. I thought it was a little high but uncle Ernie liked it so I signed him up. The price then was, with all his needs, was $7500.00. From December 2023 to December 2024 his savings account was depleted. We had to sell his house to keep him there. We got enough from the house to keep him for another three years based on what we were paying. That changed drastically when I got a letter from corporate stating that his monthly payments would be over $10,000 a month. If it goes up anymore I’ll have to see if we can find a place that’s less expensive. All the staff are exceptional and the place is always clean.
