My wife is here for a number of weeks now after an intense hospitalization. I can’t say enough about how competent AND caring the staff is here. She’s been in two other rehabs and Regency is head above shoulders. Definitely try to get in here.

My mother was here and she states , this rehab center is not the best experience for the cost. The food is poor quality, and communication with many caregivers is difficult since most do not speak English fluently. It often takes a long time for nurses to respond or bring medication, and the only pain relief typically offered is Tylenol — no stronger options are provided. Many of the staff appear overworked and tired, which affects the level of care and friendliness. Overall, I would not recommend this facility based on my experience.

Our mom is now in the Assisted Living Facility at Regency Oaks (Sylvan Health Center). The staff at Sylvan is wonderful, very attentive and helpful. I am reassured by caring nursing and ancillary staff, including housekeeping staff who greet our mom each day!

We are very pleased with the care and rehabilitation our Mother was given at Regency Oaks. The staff was very helpful and kind to our mother. Nurse DEE was always excellent and patiently explained everything to us. I was extremely impressed with wonderful & caring Nurse’s Aid RAYMESHA!! She treated our Mom Kathleen Ballestrini as if she were her mom. We really can’t say enough good things about her. We know this can be a tough job and employees like this are hard to find & should be commended! Thanks to all the hard working staff; to the Therapists that helped our Mom’s progress! Also to the Chef/Cooks… Mom really liked the food! God bless you all for making a tough experience so much better! You make a beautiful difference in people’s lives!!

This is a terrible place. The nurses are rude, inattentive and have no compassion for the patients. My mother has been there for 3 days and nights and has suffered humiliation and verbal abuse by the night staff. No one seems to care when we voice our concerns. We are looking to move her to another facility. Do NOT take your loved one there. Tonight I observed and experienced the worst nurse I've ever seen or dealt with. My mother's nurse is Allison (she would not give me her last name) Not only was she rude and belligerent with my mother, but also with the other patient in the room. Her attitude was abhorrent. When I called her out on it, she became argumentative and very unprofessional. I told her she had no business being a nurse. She started yelling in the hallway where other patients could hear her. I will be filling a complaint against her but I doubt anything will be done about it. I will await a reply from the facility director as to how they will rectify this situation. Here's an update. I received a call from the Associate Executive Director. He told me that they removed the nurse and replaced her with someone else. Tomorrow morning we're having a meeting to discuss all the issues. I'm happy to see that management has taken immediate actions and will investigate the situation. I will update this review with the outcome. I would hate to see one bad apple destroy the reputation of the facility.
