From my experience, Advanced is the top tier Rehab and Care Center in the area. Everyone is compassionate and understanding to get you better. From the Administrative Dept to the nurses and CNA's to the Rehab Dept. And thanks also to Housekeeping, Laundry, Maintenance Dept for their cleanliness of the facility. If you or loved ones need help, Advanced would be the place to go. John.

This place is a nightmare! The response time for someone to come and help was usually 2 hours and always over an hour. I had to call the front desk to get help several times. The general statement from the nursing director was that this was “TYPICAL NURSING HOME” behavior. This place is definitely in it for the money!! The only part of the place was that they had a good therapy department. Otherwise, it’s a NIGHTMARE! I was on a very expensive 10 day antibiotic therapy and my doctor told me that it was very expensive and that the nursing home probably wouldn’t cover it. He wasn’t going to release me from the hospital without the guarantee that they would cover the last 2 days of the treatment. We were assured that they would cover the cost. I was never given one dose of the antibiotic because they didn’t cover the cost. They told us that the therapy was completed. It turned out to be a LIE and I had to be readmitted to the hospital to complete the treatment. I finally got back to the facility 10 days later and I was in isolation due to a severe case of C-dif. My doctor did continuous labs on me and when my potassium levels got extremely high, he told the facility to send me back to the hospital. They told him that they would take care of me there. My doctor demanded that they release me back to the hospital. Although they were aware that this was going to happen, I was NEVER TOLD anything about it. I was awakened by a strange man standing over my bed telling me that they were going to take me. I was scared to death and although the staff knew, they never informed me. As I was wheeled out on the gurney past the nurse’s station, none of the staff said one word to me. It was shift change and 2nd & 3rd shift all just stood there and watched and never said a word to me. My doctor told me that he had to insist that I be sent back to the hospital! The place is crawling with ants, and is not very clean. The rooms are extremely hard to maneuver in- especially with a wheelchair; the food was always cold and this is a general synopsis of what many of us had to deal with. They are strictly in it for the money. I would not subject my worst enemy to this place!!

I stayed at Advanced Care Center for 2 weeks for physical therapy and medical care. I left yesterday, and I was very impressed with the employees there. Candice was very welcoming , and I was always taken care of and felt that I was heard. Bianca was a great employee and took amazing care of me and others. You can tell that people here care about the residents. Physical therapy was also too notch ! Z and Diann too great care of me. Iris is a great asset to the company. Best sense of humor ever. Crystal and Jess helped me with wound care and were always amazing.
