As if dealing with all the issues related to your love one's care and the "health insurance maze", isn't enough, now I had to deal with an incompatint Care Center. The lady in charge of admissions, Terri is a real slick talker, but she can't walk the walk. Nor can the staff. My Mother fell out of bed. How do you fall our of bed? The bed should have rails. They druged her with so many meds just so she slept all day. This is a horrible facility. Please do not send your loved one there. Heck, I wouldn't even send my worst enemy there!

Harbourwood is a godsend! 10-Stars! My elderly father was in the hospital for over a month and needed a skilled nursing facility to rest, rebuild his body, regain his independence. Terri, Teri, and Christine along with the admintrative staff were incredible and are a credit to the industry. They were kind, communicative, and worked so hard to make sure Dad was taken care of every step of the way. The nursing, medical, and therapy staff were truly AMAZING. They were kind, attentive, patient, and prompt in all the big things and even the little things. Day in and day out you could see that they truly cared about every patient in the facility as well as their family members. The facility is pristine, serene, friendly, and structured effectively to provide essential and therapeutic care in a way that helps patients and families feel confident and comfortable. Dad was not just a number - he was a member of their community and cared for in an extraordinary way. Harbourwood saved my Dad's life and we are forever in their debt. My family can not begin to describe our gratitude to Harbourwood. Entrusting Dad's care to their amazing team was the best decision we ever made.

I would strongly urge families to think very carefully before placing a loved one at Harborwood Care Center. Our experience was deeply upsetting and raised serious concerns about basic care and communication. An elderly family member under Harborwood’s care was frequently left lying flat despite difficulty swallowing. During her stay, she developed fluid in her lungs and her condition deteriorated to the point that she had to be transferred to the emergency room. We later learned that her prescribed blood pressure medication had not been given as ordered, and her blood pressure reached dangerously high levels, requiring emergency treatment. What was most disturbing is that no one from Harborwood contacted our family when she was sent to the ER. We only learned what happened after being contacted directly by the hospital. For a care facility entrusted with vulnerable patients, this lack of communication is unacceptable. Families rely on nursing facilities to provide attentive care, administer medications properly, and keep loved ones informed when there is a medical emergency. Based on our experience, Harborwood Care Center failed to meet those basic expectations.

If I could put a 0 on the star review I would. My aunt was only there for not even two weeks, and she developed a be sores due to change her diapers. And then every time, if a family member come in her call light was always behind the dresser thrown on the ground. And her bedside table will be too far for her to reach for her drinks.And she'd be so dehydrated. Then, she started having a fever and blood pressure was very high and it wasn't even taking a steps to call the family member. So let us know what was going on. Till we walked in and they didn't even call the doctor about it. And every time a family member calls the nurse to get updates, the nurse will never return the phone calls. The staff seemed so rude.They even took a curl out of a poodle's head.

From the moment I got here, I was greeted by smiling, friendly staff. The facility is CLEAN & spacious. I’ve been in six different rehabs over the past few years due to surgeries and illnesses and this one wins over all of them! The response from staff is awesome and timely. The food is always hot, flavorful, and varied. The rooms are spacious and bright and I can easily maneuver around with ease. EVERY therapist is friendly and encouraging. I truly feel blessed that I was able to get here. None of the hospitals have ever given me the name of this place, let alone the option to come here. My hospital doctor gave me the name of this facility and I am forever grateful for it! I would feel very comfortable if I had a family member that needed help. It’s got a wonderful program for whatever is needed and I would have peace knowing that a relative was in capable hands and loving hearts.
