My Familes Room reeks of urine... You know when Family becomes too busy with life to check on them, their life can become Hell on Earth! Go weekly and visit...talk to the residents...there isn't even soap in the bathrooms , no restroom for the public visiting family either... Run down..desperate need of updates...water heater doesn't recover and people have to take cold showers or just dont shower... When you take away all the dignity, all the hopes and dreams, treat people less than you treat your pet...something is major wrong!! Mostly staff is nice, understaffed, and overworked because its the bare minimum !!! Check out their meals...only by the Compassion of the Community do they have any activities.. Bird feeders no seed in them, candy machines, nothing in them, no drinks... We go to our fridge when we want a quick bite..they cannot.. We grab a soda , something to drink when we want, they cannot unless its tap water... They walk over a mile to get to a store, and occasionally a Good Samaritan will make a run to Dollar Tree for them, thankfully! Seniors having to walk to get basics or do without..is not right. . What are we? What have we allowed to happen to our elderly...surely we haven't become so complacent in our own lives that we can't see the things going on around us!! This place needs ....It really NEEDS!! I wish I could give it back negative (-3) rating...sad..very sad!!

Just found out the residents only get to shower two days per week. My niece and her three roommates say they get to shower on Monday and Friday.

If you honestly can leave your loved one here for more than 24hrs it's not even ice running through those viens hunny. Mom kept an open mind and said she would try it and I'm just grateful she's one of the fortunate ones that still had that choice. It's all there soon as you walk through the door not a single ounce of professionalism it's all just thrown at you when whom ever decides it's their job today. No soap in the restroom? That's taught in preschool right. Baths are just for show because your loved one will be showered down the hall and not by themself. Maintenance guy seemed to do whatever like hollering to tell someone to take their meds to even picking up dropped syringe by nurse and sliding it in her hand as if they are using soap. Moms sugar was low even though she's not diabetic nor was her finger stuck but ok nevermind. So was her sugar low or was it a mistake? They aren't telling. Lastly the heart broken faces that sit day and night in what smells like a depends diaper pale I'm so sorry that this is allowed to continue to happen and I pray you get your voice back soon. It's only $1000 of my mom's $1050 SSI check and everything we were told was included. Lastly this still blows my mind. After we were in moms room about 15 minutes here comes 2 employees gotta have all her clothes which I had cleaned and folded nicely the night before so we can run them through the dryer and he pulls the clothes out throws them into same black bag everyone's been using and jokes about some fabric softener sheets that I intentionally left behind, hey keep those they're hard to come by here. Trust me if a social worker recommends this place hang up. I'm scared!

So I been speaking with a lady name Kelly who Stayed it “oh your mom is always welcome” we never turn people away so me and the soical worker been calling which we never herd back from her I get a call from the hospital today saying that regency will not be excepting my mom. The only thing I couldn’t understand was where did the Communication go we had been talking for weeks. So for that reason I gave one star had my mom been there and something happened I’d probably not know till the following day because of the Communication is very poor

This place should be shut down. They allow unlicensed employees to pass out medications, including narcotics, to residents. They have ONE licensed personnell on staff who works day shift. It is up to unlicensed, unprofessional and untrained employees to care for residents after hours which often times includes calling 911 to transport them to the ER. Residents` rights are a joke. They have no rights here.
