After living at Celebration for a couple of years, my sweet mother ended up needing hospice care. The head nurse at Celebration was openly verbally aggressive and rude to the Hospice team and myself as we were trying to facilitate treatment for my mom so that her dying process was as painless as possible. The head nurse made it impossible for my mom to receive the pain management she so desperately needed in her final stage. I ended up having to take her to my home for her last week of life and I’m so glad that I did. Some nurses there, especially the head nurse, did not treat her with dignity. A few aids and a couple nurses did treat my mom well. However, the head nurse made my life and my mom‘s life absolute hell for the last two months that she was there. This nurse made it difficult for my mom to get the medicine that she needed which caused my mom to be in immense pain and to suffer unnecessarily. I will never forget the inhumanity and the lack of human dignity. It will haunt me forever.

Not only that, but after my mom passed, they did not send any condolences only a giant bill. There is little humanity and high capitalism. I have never written a one star review in my life, but I wanted anyone considering putting their loved one in this place to know the truth so that you can make the best decision for your family. If you want your family member to be treated with dignity and respect, then do not send them here.
