There's so much negativity about this place it's hard to name them all. Majority of the time the food ishorrible. I doubt that the kitchen staff would eat it. There's roaches, spiders and ants. I have submitted a mesh bag of clothes to the laundry with my name on them. I received none of my clothes back. My current CNA found my mesh bag (that contained my clothes) with nothing in it in another residence's closet. There's not enough staff to handle this amount of residents but they keep admitting residents. This leads to stressed out staffs, which leads to multiple errors. This place reeks of urine and feces. They really need to take up the carpet and remove/replace the padding underneath. By cleaning the top carpet is not going to do any good. That's the tip of the iceberg. There's some more. I will say the reason I'm giving the facility credit (2 stars), there are staff who really care for the residents and want to see us taking care of and the activities that they have. It really is my soloist. I think the "powers to be" should stop cutting off the branches of the tree and start cutting the roots of the tree. Pics: 2nd row, 2nd column were found in my cake Cup of OJ had red stains that was not clean enough

My mother has made good friends here, but I was disappointed by how staff handled a recent interaction. A staff member argued with my mother in the middle of the hallway, in front of her three-year-old granddaughter, myself, and my husband. The disagreement began because my mother asked for more ranch for her salad. Afterward, she returned to her room and found the container left on the table in the condition shown in the photo. Residents deserve to be treated with respect, and concerns should be handled professionally and privately

I called PruittHealth Macon at least 5 times in the last 10 days. I was once able to get a kind person who said she would deliver a message for me to Jim Garcia, but I’m not sure that happened since I got no response. All last week and this week— no one answers and after about 20 rings it disconnects— not even voicemail. Very frustrating. I’m trying to talk to, to find out about and help if possible , my friend Jim Garcia who was admitted two weeks ago (Feb 19). Eric Hawk

Nurses and cna did a good job with Donald Jackson during the week. They were friendly and he liked them. They got him up on weekdays but not often on weekends. Director of Nursing never returned calls and followed up with promises from in person conversations. Physical therapist lied about why his therapy stopped. Blankets went missing. People at front didn't label or have me sign when I brought in clothes. He passed on January 25. Brother came to pickup his belongings on January 26, most of his clothes were missing. I had just brought new personal items and they weren't returned. Clothes that supposed to be clean didn't smell clean. Smelled like urine.
