My mom has been in this living situation for several years. It's almost impossible to get a hold of someone over here. And when you do they're incredibly snarky. I had one situation where someone from the facility contacted me. They told me I needed to call them immediately because my mom was in the hospital and they needed to start making decisions. What does that sound like to you? It's me it sounded like Mom was in a serious situation possibly dying. I tried to call back but no one responded. I called several times trying to get through. When I finally contacted the person she reprimanded me . Trust me why I continue to call her? When I explained the message she left me she didn't even apologize she was just continue to be snarky. In addition to that mom needs extensive help with hygiene, caring for herself, all the things you expect them to do in an elder care facility. They do nothing. She sits in her own piss all day. It's pretty horrible. I sent her clothes, little goodies shampoo and hygiene products. They don't get to her. I'm not sure where they go. These people are getting paid a fortune to take care of your elderly family. Yet they continue to treat people pretty horribly. They are an example of terrible elder care. Possibly abusive. We've moved mom now and I'll feel much better about that.
