Pleasant Villa Retirement Home

Pleasant Villa Retirement Home is an independent living community in Pleasant Grove, Alabama, where residents live in their own apartments while having support available 24 hours a day.

The community provides wholesome, home-cooked meals three times daily served in the dining room, where meals serve as both a social event and source of nutrition. Weekly housekeeping services, sheet and towel cleaning are included in rent, and residents have access to a 24-hour laundromat for personal laundry or can arrange weekly laundry service for an additional fee.

Activities are hosted Monday through Friday, including Bible study classes, parties, crafts, entertainment, and games. Transportation is available to local doctor offices, hospitals, pharmacies, and stores. All utilities including electric, gas, water, pest control, trash service, 136 channels of television, and WiFi are included in rent.

Residents are welcome to drive themselves, and apartments can be personalized with residents' own furnishings and pictures. Unfurnished apartments are available, with furnished apartments available for an additional monthly fee.

Cats and small dogs up to 25 pounds are allowed with a small monthly fee, subject to approval based on the resident's ability to properly care for the pet. The community is non-smoking but maintains an outside smoking area.
