My dad was a resident of Pleasant Valley Nursing & Rehab Center for nearly 4+ years before he passed away. The care and kindenss from the staff that he received was lovely. I cannot say enough about the staff from the Administrator/Director to the Cleaning Staff and everyone who is part of the engine that keeps PV running. They welcomed and treated not just my father, but us family members as their own. Whenever I had a question on billing or taking my father out of the facility for a lunch or appointment, the staff were there for me and always provided assistance, offers of explanation of my questions/concerns with patience and a smile. I do not hesitate to recommend Pleasant Valley to anyone seeking a nursing facility to make one's long-term care needs a pleasant and comfortable experience.

I have only nice things to say about the staff and maintenance at pleasant Valley. My mom unfortunately spent many months on the rehabilitation side and she only had lovely things to say about the nurses, drs, administrators and even the maintenance team. We are grateful for all the love and support pleasant valley gave to our mother while rehabbing at your facility. We hope Mom doesn’t need to go back anytime soon but if she does need a rehab pleasant valley will be our top choice.!

We had to put our mother into a nursing home unfortunately. The assistance are fantastic! Very helpful and caring. The nurses have no idea what they are doing! She was there for maybe a month when our mother got sick. We suspected a UTI and cold and asked them to run a test. They told us they would run the test and get her on antibiotics in the morning. The test came back positive, but they didn't start her on the meds. They kept saying they were waiting for another test. Every day they would tell us she would be on the meds the next morning, but nothing. After 4 days we told them to send her to the hospital. Once the EMTs arrived to take her, they couldn't believe how bad she was told us to call all family to have them get to the hospital. The hospital immediately got her on antibiotics and fluids and she appeared to be doing better. Sadly it was found that it was to late as the infection had spread and she ended up passing away the next day. If you do have your loved one here, force the issue and demand that she goes to a hospital if they need antibiotics or other meds in a timely manner!

My mom was here for 3 years, she always had good care. The staff was always friendly to us at visits. They seem to care about her health and wellbeing. We were always informed of any changes or concerns. Mom recently passed and I could not ask for more, they were very helpful and I am grateful for the care she received. She was very happy here.

I cant say enough about how positive and pleasant experience the staff at this facility has made the transition of my grandmother into their facility. Every staff member from director, admissions, nursing, finance, physical therapy have been so helpful and communication has been top notch. My grandmother is very happy, is enjoying the activities and the helpful kind staff. The facility is clean, quality food provided , fun activities for the residents and the atmosphere is fun, caring and filled with kindness.
