About Pegasus Landing of North Riverside

Pegasus Landing of North Riverside is a memory care community in Fort Worth, Texas, specializing in care for residents with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. The community operates the Connections memory care program, which is built on neuroplasticity research and evidence-based methods developed by Dr. Sandra Petersen.

The Connections program provides personalized support through three intentional stages: emotional connection via music and reminiscence activities, physical movement to engage both sides of the brain, and cognitive activities like word games and art therapy. Staff members are trained as Connections Academy graduates who understand Alzheimer's progression and behavioral changes. The community offers 24-hour support designed to address challenging behaviors, encourage engagement with others and activities, and build confidence through meaningful routines.

Residents enjoy a range of activities including weekly Zumba classes, disco nights, carnival celebrations, rodeo events, holiday parties, bingo, dancing, cornhole, horse racing games, doll therapy, puzzles, dominoes, and bowling. Outdoor walking paths allow residents to engage with nature. Brain-healthy nutrition is served three times daily using fresh ingredients, emphasizing nourishment and the comfort of familiar routines alongside socialization opportunities.

The community recognizes that memory loss affects entire families and provides monthly family nights and caregiver support resources. Private and shared suites can be personalized with photographs, blankets, and familiar items from home. The program serves residents from Fort Worth and surrounding areas including Haslet, Westlake, Northlake, Denton, Roanoke, Euless, Hurst, Bedford, Haltom City, Southlake, and Grapevine.

Oxford Memory Care has poor business practices. We have been promised a refund for my grandfathers monthly dues after he passed away in the facility this June. 90 days was what we are promised and every time we call we get told when they will send it out. Losing a loved one is a hard and we don’t need this headache. This is so unfortunate because their staff is friendly, they care and we saw it every 2-3days we visited my grandfather. I can only imagine the other corners they are cutting in business that will ultimately impact the seniors at this facility in due time. Go somewhere else.

My husband went into memory care at Riverside Oxford on April 21, 2025. The care there was sufficient but I needed to move him because of location closer to home. I gave a 30 day notice on May 9 and withdrew him on June 9. I expected a refund from June 9 through June 30, as they took the full amount out on the first of the month. I’ve been trying for six months to get a refund and no one from corporate will call me. I would not place my loved one here if you need to take them out for any reason or that perhaps they pass while there. I don’t think you will receive a refund as I have not as of almost December 2025.

Halo Hospice is a proud partner of Riverside Oxford Memory Care and we are continually impressed by the quality of care their team provides. This beautiful facility is staffed by a compassionate team who is clearly driven by a sincere desire to offer the best possible support for their residents. We’re grateful for the collaborative relationship and the shared commitment to excellence in healthcare. Freda is their amazing Executive Director, Michelle is very great to work with as their marketer, and Christy is the kind and energetic Activites Director! Please check their facility out for your loved ones.

My mother, Lois was at this facility for nearly 2 years. Every time I went to see her one of the employees was walking with her or hugging her and laughing with her. Every time I talked to management it was encouraging. The place was clean and neat at all times and her care was 10 out of 10 stars. If you want your loved one to be taken care of by the best, this is the place to make sure it is done.
