I was sent there for rehab due to a fall. I'm a married 50 year old female. This place us a nursing home. There were men and women in wheelchairs constantly coming into our room. If I wasn't in my right mind and able to protect myself, the men could do things to other women and no one would ever kno

I did a review on Edgewood Nursing Home a while back and I gave them 1 star .I can say prayers changes things. I went up there today to visit someone and it's so....much cleaner and better than it was before and I pray they keep going forward in a positive direction so they have 5 stars because it's important to take care of people decently, all around with medication ,food, sanitary environment, fresh air if they can go out. All patients should be thriving. So I changed from my one star to 3 stars. We got to keep praying for those that can't see about themselves.

My mom has frontotemporal dementia and other health issues. She was resided in my home until it was no longer safe. I have dealt with nursing homes before as my grandmother had dementia and I was responsible for placing her. It is not easy to find a place that is safe, clean and with happy staff and residents. I am not naive to the possibility that not everyone is receiving the best experience but for my family, we have had no issues. Management at the location has been great as are the nurses and CNAs. My mom is thriving there. A job comes with its challenges and more so when you are caring for others. I am beyond happy with the care my mom receives. If I could have continue to have her in my mom, that would be where she would be. However, that is not an option but The Pavilion treats her like family and cares for her accordingly.

Poor management, and that's just the start.
