Most of the staff are great, but avoid dealing with Carmen at all costs. She does not care about you, your loved one/s, their needs or your needs. She does not take her job seriously and needs to find a new line of work. 100% recommend avoiding Carmen at all costs, the strife she's brought me and my family through this horrible time is unspeakable, unacceptable, and ridiculous.

I came to the parc on Nov 18 in25 after having surgery to my right hip due to fracture my knee and leg was in a lot pain when I got there i didn't know what to expect or anything I was scared after my son dropped me off but he wouldn't have put me somewhere bad either I knew as I learned people's names and asked what i needed to know and what was aloud and you could do it wasn't bad I made friends with residents the staff was helpful Tiffany the director is great and Dana the don is also great she's in charge of nurses and cnas therapy there is good they help me get to my goals so that I could go home they always incurage me so I get better i treated all with respect and got the same back from them when I left on jan28 of 26 I was happy to be going home and yet sad of goodbye to people I consider friends to me or like family I went there to heel and got some more than just that so with that thank you Tiffany, Dana and everyone else

Our family wholeheartedly recommends PARC Joliet Rehabilitation Facility. The exceptional care and consistent patient/family engagement our family member received significantly aided his recovery. From the Director of Nursing to the maintenance staff, the intentional kindness and dedication of your team were truly impactful and deeply appreciated.

Let's call this a real time review, since I'm currently a patient here at the Parc. Let's call this episode 2, do you want the good or the bad first??!! Let's start with the good I ended up back here because of a reoccurring foot infection so I chose to come back here based on my first experience here. Let's get into it: shout out to Tiffany the administrator who stepped up and corrected some wrongs that should've never happened. Without going into details she rectified a couple of situations that really irritated 😤 me, she was open and available to my concerns and issues thx Tiff gotta give her a 5 out of 5. as well as David the assistant DON. The wound care team, IV nurses, and the majority of my regular nurses thx for your treatment and care. The above people and departments overall are very professional give them a 4 out of 5 rating. Physical and Occupational therapy, Wechu the best way I can spell my guys name lol. When it comes to Physical therapy and reaching/ exceeding your goals my guy is the man for the job love you man. Occupational therapy Amanda thank you for pushing me to regain and maintain my independence as far as getting dressed etc.your the best. Special shout out to TJ, Amuchu and Linda for your assistance as well, 5 out of 5 PT/OT.The ladies in the activities department who do the entertainment and activities for the residents. Without these ladies and the activities they provide for the residents their time here would be dreadful. Keep those bingo bucks coming lol 5 out of 5. This is a mixed bag and I can only speak on the CNAs I've encountered. Mostly the CNAs are attentive and helpful on the other hand they're are some that are in the wrong field!! This is not a glamorous job if you know the job description and what it entails this job has to be done from the heart ♥️ and or with a bigger plan in sight. With that being said there are some CNAs that are in the wrong field and need to find a new job!! Don't get me wrong the job is demanding and patients can be rude,obnoxious etc. But you have to know that from the beginning so bringing your attitude to work is only going to make you miserable in the long run. For those of you that do your job and above thank you. 3 out of 5. House keeping Tim runs a tight ship his crew overall keep the rooms and facility clean. They might show up too early but overall they're on point 4 out 5. Social service they have to multi task but some things should intel more thought and planning!! For instance there a plethora of different patients, health conditions, ages, race etc. It would be a good idea to take those factors into consideration when assigning rooms. Some simple research on the patients you have and the factors I mentioned above would give you a better idea of how to assign rooms!!! Putting basically healthy people in the room with unhealthy people, morning people with non morning people, etc. Come out of your office and get to know more about the residents and that will give you more insight about the residents and help you do some cross pairing when possible. Be proactive instead of reactive !!! 2 out of 5. The food where do I start I can't say if it's the cooks, the food quality or the budget set aside for the food purchases. But the food here is dreadful overall I don't know if it's a budget thing but serving powdered eggs every morning with no breakfast meat 27 days out of the month is depressing within it's self !!! 1.5 out of 5. But when the State was here everybody was running around like a chicken with no head trying to be on point !!! Yall need to have that same energy everyday !! Stay ready so you dont have to get ready ¡!!Honorable mention to my wound doctor, Linda head of PT/OT. and some of the administrative people behind the scenes. I chose to write this review while I'm a patient here because everything I just posted is fresh on my mind and I'm dealing with it everyday the good the bad and the ugly!! Overall rating a soft 3 out of 5 ¡!!! So I've said what I said and I'm not ducking no smoke!!!!
