About Paradigm at The Pines

Paradigm at The Pines is a 90-bed skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Silsbee, Texas. Recent management changes have brought facility-wide improvements, including expanded programs like a secure unit and tracheostomy care.

Families describe notably mixed experiences. Many report attentive, compassionate nursing staff who take time with residents and support meaningful recovery, one family noted their sister was "stronger and better than ever" after rehabilitation here. Therapy services, activities, and kitchen operations receive consistent praise for cleanliness and quality. Several families mention staff members by name, speaking of genuine care and warmth. However, a smaller group of reviewers cite serious concerns: inadequate night staffing, communication gaps during care delivery, and complaints about food quality and administrative responsiveness. One family wrote that "the staff aren't around at night," and another described rough morning care routines.

The facility carries a 4.4-star rating across 27 Google reviews. The breadth of five-star reviews, including from long-term residents and families of varying care needs, suggests strengths in daytime operations and staff engagement, though staffing consistency remains a concern for some.

Run as far away from this place as possible when walking inside. Staff is rude when caught off guard. The place stinks improper care and patients asking for help and not receiving it. Do not put your loved one here
