If I could leave a negative review- I would. From the first day of my mother being admitted to this facility, it was nothing but pure neglect and negative interactions. She had called to be helped to the bathroom and had to wait so long she urinated on herself, not once, but twice. Then was left in her own urine for hours and it took me personally getting ahold of the supervisor of the facility to get her cleaned up. She was also denied her pain medication and we were given ever excuse possible as to why, she ended up missing 7 doses and having to wait over 12 hours before she was offered anything other than plain over the counter Tylenol. They were also unequipped to handle her serious seizure and bipolar disorder, not even having the medication on site prior to admission which had been stated days before she was sent over there, and did not receive it for hours past when she is supposed to get it. For days it was the same fight for her pain medication, only ever being somewhat resolved after I would have to go in personally or call supervisors to have them administer the medication. Her seizure and bipolar meds were never given at consistent times. Before I physically removed her from the facility, the final breaking point was the absolute violation of patient and disabled persons rights when a nurse did not bring her medication for several hours past when she had asked, had my mother walk down the hallway unattended to get it and had her wait so long she asked for a wheelchair because she was in so much pain, to which they denied and stated “I am not going to walk all the way down there to bring your medication right now, so you can either wait and I’ll get it now or you can go back down there and wait until I want to bring it to you”, and then continued to leave her unattended to hobble back down the hallways by herself. This place is a joke and should be investigated on negligence and violation of patient rights. We also had asked for her MAR (medical administration records) multiple times and was never given it or able to view- which is a severe violation of HIPPA laws, as well as a blood test that was not spoke about to her prior nor were any questions as to why they were taking her blood answered until I was wheeling her out of the facility on my own, another severe violation of HIPPA and could even be considered medical battery and medical treatment without consent. Do not bring or allow your family members to be brought to this facility unless you hate them.
