All staff are welcoming and friendly. They take great pride in what they do here. They can even make my grumpy uncle smile! The facility is always clean...inside and out! It's not surprising to learn I know of several acquaintances whose parents are also here. It's a great place!!

Absolutely the best experience in caring for loved ones. Team members treat everyone with compassion and dignity and truly feel like family. Our last months in memory care were memorable and inspirational. We highly recommend Oak Meadows!!

We moved our dad into assisted living a couple of months ago from another assisted living facility. We have been extremely pleased thus far. Even though his previous facility was highly rated, it doesn't hold a candle to Oak Meadows.<br><br>The facility is well maintained and the apartments are very reasonably priced. They are also nicely updated. My dad is in a large studio that has a separate area that is plenty big enough to serve as a bedroom. The grounds are very nice with walking trails and a large gazebo.<br><br>The facility is large enough to be vibrant and active without being overwhelming or confusing to the residents.<br><br>My only minor issue is the dining room hours are limited and they do not accommodate special diets(diabetic, heart failure, etc.) Three meals a day only adds $300 a month.<br><br>The real difference maker is the employees. They don't seem understaffed and they seem to be happy. These facilities can churn through employees and have to rely on temp workers. The fact that they have long term employees that can forge relationships with the residents is huge.<br><br>Oak Meadows also has ample Registered Nursing coverage. This is such a key. So many facilities use various unlicensed aides that work "under" the direction of an RN without the RN ever really seeing and caring for the residents. At Oak Meadows, the licensed nursing staff interacts and cares for the residents while only the support level tasks are done by aides.<br><br>Another thing is the communication of the staff with family members. I am not left in the dark when issues arise with my dad. I feel it is a collaborative environment.<br><br>My brother and I are thrilled to have chosen Oak Meadows for dad. We sleep better knowing he is being professionally taken care of in a nice environment.
